Dark War Survival Modified Vehicle Guide – Upgrade Materials
The Modified Vehicle is a core battle asset that enhances your troops across different combat situations: Siege Assaults, Field Battles, and Siege Defences. Its configuration determines your effectiveness in offensive operations, open-field PvP, and base defense.
This guide breaks down how the system works, what to upgrade, and how to specialize it for your gameplay style.
Dark War Survival Modified Vehicle Guide
A Modified Vehicle enhances three core areas:
- Troop ATK (Attack Power)
- Troop DEF (Defense)
- Destruction Value (Bonus damage vs. buildings or units)
It also includes a unique active skill called DW-2 Armor Piercer, which deals percentage-based damage to enemies. The higher your base stats, the more effective this skill becomes.
2. Modified Vehicle Core Stats
When fully upgraded, the vehicle boosts the following:
Stat Type | Function |
---|---|
Troop ATK | Increases your troop’s base attack |
Troop DEF | Increases your troop’s base defense |
Destruction Value | Boosts siege damage to buildings or enemy APCs |
These stats are influenced by six upgradeable parts (three per side) and the skill module in the center.
3. The DW-2 Armor Piercer Skill
This active skill deals high burst damage based on a % of your Modified Vehicle’s total ATK.
Skill levels:
- Starts at 3000% damage
- Scales up to 6000% → 10000% → 15000% → 18000% → 30000% at max level
The skill becomes a huge force multiplier in battles—especially when paired with strong gear and high destruction value.
4. Combat Paths Explained
The vehicle system has three distinct combat roles. Each role boosts different types of engagements, with separate stats.
A. Siege Assault Path (Orange Boxes)
Use this when: You’re attacking buildings like Watchtowers, Villages, Alliance Centers, or Capital Cities.
Key Stats:
- Troop ATK on Siege Assault
- Troop DEF on Siege Assault
- Destruction Value (building damage)
Recommended for:
- Rally leads and members during capital war
- Players focusing on territory capture
B. Field Combat Path (Green Boxes)
Use this when: You’re fighting in open field against other players’ APCs or world map zombies.
Key Stats:
- Field Troop ATK
- Field Troop DEF
- Destruction Value (APC vs. APC or APC vs. PvE)
Recommended for:
- PvP-focused players
- Events like Frankenstein, Mutabeast, or open-world fights
C. Siege Defense Path (Red Boxes)
Use this when: You are defending your base or reinforcing allies.
Key Stats:
- Troop ATK on Siege Defenses
- Troop DEF on Siege Defenses
- Destruction Value (vs. enemy rallies)
Recommended for:
- Defensive setups during Kill Events or Zombie Sieges
- Players who often get rallied
5. Upgrade Materials & Sources
Required Materials:
- Gear – Dropped from zombies, rally bosses (Boomers), and seasonal events
- Titanium Alloy – Found in shops (battle shop, honor shop), zombie rallies
- Design Blueprints – Shop purchases and seasonal drops
Tip: Titanium Alloy is often more limiting than blueprints due to higher usage per upgrade. When choosing between the two in events, prioritize Titanium Alloy if you’re low.
6. Specialization vs. Balance
Depending on your playstyle and resources, you can either:
Specialize
Focus entirely on one or two paths:
- Siege Assault + Field Combat for rally leaders or PvP players
- Siege Defense + Field Combat for defensive and reactive strategies
Balanced Setup
Upgrade all three paths evenly once you have surplus resources and a maxed-out skill.
Free-to-Play Tip: Prioritize one full path first. Avoid splitting materials across all paths early. A half-upgraded vehicle across all paths is less effective than a fully maxed one in your most-used role.
The Modified Vehicle is a customizable weapon platform that defines your combat power. Whether you’re a rally lead, solo PvP hunter, or strategic defender, optimizing your vehicle for your style gives you a major edge.
