Twilight Chronicle Tier List Wiki & Reroll (December 2025)
Twilight Chronicle: Idle RPG blends lighthearted visuals with surprisingly tactical combat, and the true strength of your account depends heavily on how quickly you secure a strong core roster. After extensive testing across story progression, Abyss stages, PvP brackets, and late-game boss encounters, I’ve assembled a refined tier list that reflects the real performance of each hero in the current meta.
This version of the list also includes several tier adjustments based on actual gameplay impact—not just raw stats or skill descriptions. As the game evolves and balance changes roll out, this list will continue to get updated.
Twilight Chronicle Tier List & Reroll Guide (December 2025)
This tier list evaluates heroes by three major factors:
• Practical power in PvE and PvP
• Progression value (how well they carry your account through stages)
• Versatility and synergy potential
SS-Rank units consistently raise your team’s ceiling, S-Rank heroes are strong but somewhat composition-dependent, while A-Rank picks provide situational value or early-game stability.
Below is the revised tier placement after testing multiple team combinations:
SS Tier
Ling, Raphael, Sariel, Wu Kong, Azmodan, Rose
S Tier
Luna, Michael, Ying Gou, Alucard, Lucifer
A Tier
Dark Tide, Tinplate, Elegy, Isabella, Ramesses, Enchantress
B Tier
Orpheus, Heidi, Dracula, Bathory
Why These Tier Adjustments Were Made
During late-game Abyss and PvP testing, I noticed several heroes outperforming their initial community expectations—most notably Rose, who now lands firmly in SS due to her control scaling and real match impact. Meanwhile, Elegy drops slightly because his niche is too narrow in practice.
Now, let’s break down each tier with real, hands-on details.
SS Tier – The Best Heroes in the Current Meta
These heroes have dominated every game mode I tested. They either carry your entire team or enable comps that outperform others by a large margin.
Ling
Ling remains one of the highest-value heroes for both new and established accounts. What sets her apart is not just the raw damage, but how consistently she delivers it. Her AoE crit bursts wipe out backlines in story mode and PvP alike. The only drawback is her fragility, but pairing her with Sariel or a sturdy frontline eliminates that problem. When built properly, Ling becomes the single strongest AoE mage in the game.
Raphael
If you ever wonder why some teams seem unkillable, odds are they’re using Raphael. She offers some of the most reliable AoE healing in the current patch and layers it with targeted bursts of extra recovery. Her additional teamwide damage buff is what pushes her above every other healer in terms of raw value. She is simply too efficient not to use.
Sariel
I’ve tested every frontline hero extensively, and none of them come close to Sariel’s reliability. Her invulnerability mechanic single-handedly saves runs that would otherwise crumble. Whether you’re dealing with burst assassins or slow bleed comps, Sariel stabilizes everything. She fits literally any lineup, and for that alone, she deserves her SS position.
Wu Kong
Wu Kong shines in the late game like no other hero. After several turns, his crit scaling turns him into a monster that deletes teams. His synergy with lifesteal sustain makes him perfect for marathon fights like Abyss bosses. New players might feel he’s slow at first, but trust me—once geared, he becomes unstoppable.
Azmodan
Azmodan surprised me during frontline testing. With proper skill leveling, he barely even needs a healer thanks to crit-based lifesteal. Every active skill boosts both damage reduction and crit rate, creating a durable bruiser who can also kill things himself. He fits exceptionally well into self-sustain or brawler comps.
Rose
Originally underrated, Rose has earned a solid place in SS after repeated testing. Her blend of scaling damage and disruptive control gives her an advantage in extended battles. She slows, seals, and weakens targets just enough to make high-damage teammates shine. Her impact is especially noticeable in Demonhunter-style compositions.
S Tier – Strong Heroes with Composition Requirements
These units are powerful but need either a certain team style, specific gear, or higher investment.
Luna
Luna’s AoE nukes are reliable and tough to negate. While her raw burst can be overwhelming for teams lacking HP or shields, she sometimes struggles versus high-durability tank-based teams. With proper supports, she hits like a truck, but she’s slightly more matchup-dependent than Ling.
Michael
Michael brings consistent true damage and one of the strongest buff-removal skills in the game. She’s amazing in PvP where stripping key buffs can instantly collapse enemy strategy. Her only issue is long cooldowns, which makes her somewhat timing-sensitive.
Ying Gou
Ying Gou truly shines when paired with damage heavy hitters like Ling. Her debuff synergy dramatically increases crit burst potential. Once her awaken skill hits level 2, she becomes one of the best enablers in the entire game. She’s powerful, but only when her team is built around her role.
Alucard
Alucard is the go-to main DPS for Bleed comps. When properly stacked, he becomes a persistent threat who grows stronger each turn. His ability to target low-defense enemies allows him to consistently pick off key backline units.
Lucifer
Lucifer performs well as a slow-burn AoE mage. She chips away at enemy health bars until the entire enemy side collapses. She’s not a burst hero, but in long fights, she becomes devastating. She excels mainly in Abyss or control-heavy teams.
A Tier – Useful but Replaceable
These heroes can shine in certain teams but do not provide enough consistent value to be top-tier picks. They are fine for mid-game or specialized comps.
Dark Tide
High damage for a tank, but her self-HP consumption means she is heavily dependent on healers. When built into aggressive lineups, she performs well—but only with proper support.
Tinplate
A solid tank with useful taunts and damage sharing mechanics. However, his lack of self-sustain makes him unreliable without a top-tier healer. Can be effective, but requires careful team building.
Elegy
Powerful on paper with his single-target burst, but his lack of flexibility holds him back. Works fine in bossing or against glass-cannon PvP teams, but overall too niche for a higher tier.
Isabella
Isabella keeps Bleed comps functional by serving as a consistent Bleed generator. She enables heroes like Alucard, yet her personal performance is low. Best used only in Kindred-focused teams.
Ramesses
A quirky hybrid tank with resurrection and Infection debuff. Unfortunately, his numbers don’t match top-tier tanks, making him more of a utility option for specific stages.
Enchantress
Her sustain-on-damage mechanic sounds better than it performs. She offers chip healing during winning scenarios but struggles to turn losing battles around due to low base damage. Situationally useful but not reliable.
B Tier – Early Game Only
These heroes help early on but fall behind significantly in late-game progression.
Orpheus
Heidi
Dracula
Bathory
They function as placeholders until you pull something better.
How to Reroll in Twilight Chronicle: Idle RPG
If you want a strong early start, rerolling is worth your time. Here’s the cleanest method I’ve found:
- Launch the game and sign in as Guest.
- Progress until your first multi-summon becomes available (usually within a few minutes).
- Use all beginner summons, tickets, and any free pulls.
- Check for one or more SS heroes:
• Ling
• Sariel
• Raphael
• Wu Kong - If the pulls are bad, reset your account:
– Go to Settings → Account → Delete/Reset Data
– Or reinstall the game if required - Repeat until you get your desired lineup.
Ideal Reroll Result: Ling + Raphael or Sariel + Wu Kong
This combination gives you explosive damage, durability, and sustain from day one.
Twilight Chronicle’s hero balance rewards players who build around synergy and long-term scaling rather than short bursts of power. The SS tier heroes are the backbone of nearly every top-performing lineup I’ve tested, while S-tier heroes provide nuance and specialized strengths.
New players should prioritize rerolling for one of the top heroes, as your early pulls will shape the next several weeks of progression. With the right setup, the game becomes dramatically smoother.
