Welcome to Anime Crusaders, a new tower defense game by the creators of Anime Realms! If you’re just getting started and feel a bit overwhelmed, don’t worry. This guide will walk you through everything you need to know — from units and banners to traits, crafting, and events.
Game Overview
Anime Crusaders is a tower defense game with familiar UI and gameplay loops similar to Anime Adventures. Whether you’re summoning units, evolving them, or grinding events, the game is packed with features and content.
Game UI & Main Areas
Store: Buy bundles and reroll packs.
Units: Manage your collected fighters.
Items Tab: Organized tabs for Skins, Relics, Portals, XP, Food, Keys, Stones, and more.
Play: Leads to Story Mode.
Legend Stages: Currently includes only Shibuya for JJK-related unit evolutions.
Event Tab: Daily login rewards.
Summon: Regular banner + Event banner, both with Mythic and Secret units.
Quests: Daily quests reset (sometimes buggy).
Infinite Mode: Farm resources and test builds.
Arena: PVP leaderboard (under development).
Wiki (In-Game): Browse unit stats, items, traits, and evolution info.
Battle Pass: Premium and free rewards track with rerolls, gems, and cosmetics.
Trait & Evo Stations: Roll traits and evolve units at Beerus NPC.
Trophy Shop: Claim free emotes.
Leaderboard: Top stats for most gold, level, gems, etc.
Traits Guide (Best to Worst)
Here’s a breakdown of traits and their effects:
- Crusader (0.1%) — Best trait:
+300% Damage, -10% SPA, +10% Range
Extremely powerful, one-slot placement - Biohazard (0.15%) —
+75% Toxic Damage over 54 sec - Radiant (0.2%) —
+27.5% Damage, -15% SPA, +15% Range - Aurora (0.36%) —
+10% Damage, +20% True Damage, +25% Range - Eclipse (0.8%) —
+22.5% Damage, +25% Boss Damage - Overdrive (1.5%) —
-20% SPA - Hawkey (2.5%) —
+30% Range - Glided (5%) —
+30% Yen, -10% Upgrade Cost (Ideal for farm/support units) - Tactician (10%) —
+50% Unit XP Gain - Focus (24.8%) —
+12.5% / +15% / +17.5% Range - Agile (24.8%) —
Slight SPA boost (not worth keeping long-term)
👉 Rolling Traits:
Use tokens at Beerus NPC. Two trait shards = 1 reroll. Divine tokens = 1:1. “Worthiness” boosts your chance at high-rarity rolls.
Evolutions & Crafting
- Units evolve using special Evo Items + Takedowns.
- Click your unit > “Evolve” > Game shows exact materials required.
- Craft missing items via Beerus NPC.
- Secret evolution (like Sid) requires sacrificing a fully evolved unit.
Curses System
- Applies buffs & debuffs (like +Damage, -Range or +SPA, -Cooldown).
- Found near the Curses NPC.
- Randomized, similar to enchantments or mods.
Shops & Currency
- Gold Shop: Buy rerolls, Evo items, stones, etc.
- Gold earned from:
- Selling units from summons
- Completing quests/events
- Verification Rewards: Link Twitter/Discord for bonuses (buggy currently).
