The very first thing you’ll notice when entering the Alien Minefield is the dormant time selection. This is basically a protected period where your legion can’t attack and enemies can’t attack your territory either.
Most players just pick a time when they’re asleep or offline so nothing important happens while they’re away.
Mining vs Quick Mining
Once you get inside, the main focus becomes mining resources. You’ll see multiple mine tiers, and naturally the higher tiers are what most players aim for.
There’s also a quick mining option, but that mainly benefits you personally and doesn’t really help your guild much.
Monuments Come First
Before you can actually get rewards from mines, your guild has to control the monument in that area. Without it, mining there won’t generate rewards.
So early on, most of the action is focused on attacking and capturing monuments first.
Understanding the Map
Using the map view helps a lot because it shows which quadrants your guild controls. Mines appear as small markers, and their color indicates whether they belong to your guild or an enemy.
This makes it easier to decide where to send players.
Occupying Mines
Once monuments are secured, the next priority is spreading players across mines. Each occupied mine generates resources continuously.
Staying on a mine keeps rewards flowing, but moving to another mine will stop the previous one.
Claiming Rewards Regularly
Mining rewards don’t generate forever. After around twelve hours, they stop accumulating, so players need to log in and collect them regularly.
Many players plan to check in every several hours to avoid losing progress.
Attacking Enemy Mines
If an enemy controls a mine or monument, they need to be attacked first before taking it over.
Once defenders are defeated, there’s usually a short contest period before the mine becomes fully controlled.
Team Roles During Mining
Guild coordination plays a big role here. Strong players often guard monuments or garrisons, while others spread out to occupy mines.
This balance helps both protect territory and maximize resource generation.
Mining consistently is what mainly drives rankings and rewards. Collecting resources frequently increases points and helps players climb the leaderboards.
Because of this, staying active and claiming rewards regularly becomes the most important part of this phase.
