Capybara Go Psionic Refinement Guide (January 2026)
The Psionic Refinement system is one of the most powerful progression mechanics in Capybara Go, but it is also one of the easiest systems to waste resources on if you rush into it without understanding how it truly works. When used correctly, it becomes a long-term damage multiplier that permanently upgrades your gear and turns your build into a late-game monster.
Capybara Go Psionic Refinement Guide (January 2026)
This guide will show you exactly when to start using Psionic Refinement, how to level it efficiently, where to spend your Divine Weapon Cubes, and which stats actually matter for real damage growth.
Psionic Refinement
Psionic Refinement should never be your early-game focus. Your absolute first priority must be getting your main gear pieces to Double-S tier. The raw stat boosts from Double-S upgrades are significantly stronger than any refinement bonuses you can get at low refinement levels.
Refinement becomes truly valuable only after your core gear is already upgraded. Once your equipment is in place, every Divine Weapon Cube you invest into refinement starts giving permanent account-wide scaling instead of temporary RNG rolls.
Think of Double-S gear as building your foundation. Psionic Refinement is what transforms that foundation into a late-game powerhouse.
How the Psionic Refinement System Actually Works
Psionic Refinement works very similarly to the pet stat system. You have one global refinement level that applies to all of your gear. This is extremely important because it means every level you gain permanently improves the quality and strength of all future refinements across your entire loadout.
As your refinement level increases:
• You unlock more stat slots per item
• Your chances of rolling higher-tier stats increases
• Rare and special attributes become available
• Overall stat scaling improves
This means your goal is not to chase perfect stats early. Your real goal is to increase your refinement level as high as possible first.
Never Lock Stats Early
Locking stats multiplies the Divine Weapon Cube cost dramatically. While it may look tempting to protect a decent roll, doing this early is one of the biggest mistakes players make.
At low refinement levels, your roll pool is weak, your stat values are limited, and you are still unlocking slots. Any stat you save early will be replaced naturally later by much stronger rolls.
Locking only becomes worth considering once you reach higher refinement levels and roll high-tier special stats with strong percentage values.
Until then, every cube should be spent on raw refinement level progression.
Weapon Priority
Not all gear slots are equal in Psionic Refinement.
Your weapon is the most important refinement target in the entire game.
Most of your total DPS comes from your weapon refinement bonuses, especially from special stats like:
• Weapon critical rate
• Skill damage
• Damage increase
• Elemental damage bonuses
• Weapon-specific damage types such as dagger, sword chi, lightning, or basic attack damage
Around ninety percent of your Divine Weapon Cubes should go into your weapon. Rings come second, while armor and accessories are mainly defensive and much less impactful for clearing speed.
Best Stats for Popular Builds
Different builds benefit from different refinement stats, but these are the most valuable in almost every scenario:
Damage Increase and Skill Damage
These are universally strong for all offensive builds and should always be prioritized when rolled on weapons.
Weapon Critical Rate
One of the strongest DPS stats in the game. Hard to obtain elsewhere and extremely valuable at high roll percentages.
Element-Specific Damage
If your build relies on lightning, dagger, sword chi, or basic attacks, matching your refinement stats to your build type dramatically improves your output.
Combo Rate and Counter Rate
These are especially useful on rings and PvP-focused setups.
Damage Reduction and Final Damage Reduction
These mainly appear on armor and accessories and are more useful for survivability in high-difficulty content.
Use Loadouts to Save Rolls
Loadouts are one of the most underrated refinement features.
If you roll a decent stat early but your refinement level is still low, move it into a separate loadout and save it. This allows you to keep upgrading your main refinement path without permanently losing useful rolls.
Always remember to manually save your loadout. If you forget to save it, the refinement bonuses do not apply at all.
This method lets you build temporary power while still focusing on long-term refinement level growth.
Mid and Late Game Refinement Tips
Once your refinement level reaches the mid-game range, the system starts to change completely. Higher-tier stats become more common, special attributes appear more frequently, and roll values increase dramatically.
Only at this stage does locking stats become worth considering, and even then, only for truly powerful rolls such as high weapon critical rate or major damage increase bonuses.
At high refinement levels, Psionic Refinement stops being RNG fluff and becomes one of the largest permanent DPS multipliers in the entire game.
