Dark War Survival Season 6 Pre-Grouping Guide – Group
Dark War Survival Season 6 is finally on the horizon, and if you’ve been waiting… yeah, it’s been a long wait. But now that the pre-grouping phase is here, this is where things quietly decide whether your season will be smooth—or a complete struggle.
A lot of players think this phase doesn’t matter much. That’s the first mistake.
Let’s break it down properly so you don’t get stuck in the wrong group and regret it later.
Dark War Survival Season 6 Pre-Grouping Guide – Group Structure
Pre-grouping is basically the system that decides who you fight with and how strong your team will be for the entire season.
Instead of just your alliance doing everything, Season 6 is built around:
- 4 alliances per group
- Up to 400 total players per group
So you’re no longer playing solo-alliance dominance… this is now team-of-alliances gameplay.
And trust me, that changes everything.
How Groups Are Formed
The grouping is based entirely on Alliance Total CP (Combat Power).
Here’s how it works:
- Top 2 strongest alliances → automatically locked into Group 1
- Alliances ranked 3rd & 4th → compete based on power
- The stronger one stays in Group 1
- The weaker one drops to Group 2
So if your alliance is sitting around rank 3–5… you’re in the danger zone.
One small power shift can literally change your entire season path.
Group Structure
Each group:
- Contains 4 alliances
- Has a 400 player cap
- Becomes your main faction for the season
Now here’s the important part…
- Stronger group = better chances to win
- Weaker group = slower progress, fewer rewards
So landing in Group 1 isn’t just “nice”—it’s a long-term advantage.
Multiple Groups Exist
You’ll typically see:
- Group 1 → strongest alliances, most competitive
- Group 2 → mid-tier alliances
- Group 3 → weaker / inactive alliances
And yeah… Group 3 is basically where progress becomes painful.
Some alliances there may:
- Have very low members
- Be inactive
- Struggle in coordinated gameplay
You do NOT want to end up there if you’re even slightly competitive.
The 2-Day Preparation Window
You get about 2 days for regrouping.
That’s it.
During this time:
- Rankings are shifting constantly
- Alliances are pushing power
- Everyone is trying to secure top 4
There’s no “wait and see” here.
If you sit idle, other alliances will pass you.
Matchmaking
Once grouping is locked:
- Matchmaking begins
- You’ll face other states with similar group strength
So the game tries to balance things… but only based on your group.
Meaning:
- Strong group → fair & competitive matchups
- Weak group → still weak, just matched with other weak
So your grouping decides your entire difficulty level.
Biggest Season 6 Change
This is the real shift.
Season 6 is no longer:
“Which alliance is strongest?”
It’s now:
“Which GROUP of alliances works best together?”
That means:
- Coordination matters more than raw power
- Active alliances outperform bigger inactive ones
- Communication becomes a weapon
If your group is organized → you dominate
If not → even high power won’t save you
Pro Tips to Secure a Strong Group
Let’s keep it practical.
If you want to stay in Group 1:
- Push total alliance power (CP) aggressively
- Make sure inactive players don’t drag rankings down
- Coordinate with top alliances in your state
- Stay in Top 4 at all costs
Especially if you’re rank 3 or 4…
You’re literally one push away from:
- Staying in top group
- Or dropping to a weaker bracket
