Evertale Arena Tier List (September 2025 Update)

The Evertale meta has always been volatile, but the September 2025 Arena tier list marks one of the biggest shake-ups we’ve seen in a while. Burn teams are on fire (literally), Earth units are feeling the pressure, and some beloved veterans have tumbled down several tiers.

Let’s break down all the highlights from this latest update, based on Tru’s data-driven analysis.

Evertale Arena Tier List (September 2025 Update)

New Arrivals in the Arena

The past few months brought a handful of new units, and as always, they’re shaping how the meta looks today.

Earth Dark Rolotia – A Tier

Rolotia entered with some interesting tools built around guarding, but the lack of speed and reliable turn generation makes her hard to use. Against the ever-present Storm powerhouses, she just doesn’t cut it. To make things worse, her burn weakness was immediately punished by the release of new Fire units. Rolotia is niche at best and lands in A Tier.

Clare – SSS Tier

If Rolotia stumbled, Clare exploded onto the scene. Even at one copy she’s strong, but fully awakened she becomes a monster. Her skillset feeds into itself: constant Enrage buffs, scaling burn drive damage, and the devastating Silver Sky Slash—an Execute All attack with 100 TU cooldown that can exceed 1000% damage. She doesn’t even need armor ignore to wipe teams. Clare makes history as the first Burn unit in SSS Tier, and she’s redefining team building overnight.

Zhuge Liang (Kong Ming) – SS Tier

While not the raw killer Clare is, Kong Ming shines as a support. She brings piercing damage (to bypass armor), stacks armor on herself based on burning allies, and heals after surviving attacks. Her execute skill is hard to trigger since it requires dropping below 50% HP, but her toolkit perfectly complements other Burn units. In the current climate, that synergy secures her an SS Tier spot.

Pinocchio – SS Tier

Earth hasn’t had much luck lately, but Pinocchio bucks the trend. Instead of falling to Burn, she thrives with Poison mechanics and has some utility against Storm frontliners like New Anya and Chronos. Her biggest drawback is vulnerability to Stun, but when she gets going she can swing battles by forcing reinforcements. Surprisingly, Pinocchio now stands as the strongest Earth unit, comfortably in SS Tier.

Major Demotions Across the Board

While new releases stole the spotlight, many older heroes took painful hits in this update.

  • Graveyard Tier: OG Dark Elmina and Ossia both sink here, marking the end of their competitive relevance.
  • F Tier: Light Mirai, once a top support SSR, finally collapses after four years. Earth Alira also falls, despite her 60% auto-guard gimmick.
  • E Tier: Water Alice, Frankenstein Mary, OG Lancelot, Clarice, and Loki all lose footing. Storm guards and Sleep units are particularly suffering.
  • D Tier: Units like Giga Rolotia, Himiko, Storm Jeanne, and Earth Kaguya join the downward slide as stun immunities dominate.
  • C Tier: Excalibur, Dark Cleopatra, Angel Jeanne, Percival, and Bride Lancelot are falling out of competitive relevance.
  • B Tier: Perhaps the most shocking demotions, Water Anya and Da Vinci both land here. Once dominant, they now look far weaker in today’s Burn-heavy field.

Even some long-standing S Tier champions aren’t safe. Water Musashi, Elizabeth, and Mermaid all lose ground, while Storm titans like Nike, Kirin, and Gawain also decline due to the Burn surge. Even Dark Clarice and Cthulhu—once terrifying—are now held in check.

Shifts in the Top Tiers

Despite all the losses, several units rose in value, proving that this meta isn’t just about Fire dominance—it’s about adaptation.

  • Shen Long (Burn): Climbs up to S Tier, solidifying his role in the new Burn meta.
  • Satan (Fire): Benefits from Zhuge Liang’s synergy, landing in SS Tier.
  • Cerberus (Burn): Still relevant after 16 months, continuing as a key piece of Burn teams.
  • Light Anya: Retains her title as the oldest SS Tier unit still holding strong.
  • Lucifer (Fire): Now in SSS Tier thanks to her auto-burn every turn, which also doubles as status cleansing. After months of middling performance, she finally ascends late in her life cycle—a rare feat.

The Top Dogs – Still Storm Territory

Even with Burn units rising, the absolute top of the meta hasn’t changed too much.

  • New Anya (Storm): Still the most dominant unit in the game, with an eye-watering 82% usage rate among the top 2000 teams worldwide. Her disable mechanics and incredible survivability make her near-universal.
  • Chronos (Storm): Slightly weakened by Burn, but her Undo Existence skill keeps her dangerous, especially against Earth units like Pinocchio. With the right RNG, she remains a top-tier threat.

These two Storm juggernauts remind everyone that Fire’s rise doesn’t mean Storm is finished—it’s still the most reliable archetype for climbing the Arena ladder.

The September 2025 Arena tier list is defined by fire—both literally, with Burn teams skyrocketing, and figuratively, with long-time veterans being burned out of relevance. Clare’s arrival as the first SSS Burn unit and Lucifer’s surprising late-career surge mark the peak of a fiery meta. Meanwhile, Earth struggles to stay afloat, and many classic units are slipping into irrelevance.

Still, Storm’s New Anya and Chronos hold their crowns, proving that no matter how strong Burn becomes, Storm isn’t going anywhere just yet. Whether this is the true peak of Burn/Stun domination or just a step in its evolution remains to be seen—but for now, expect the Arena to stay red-hot.
