Fate War Beginner Guide – Kingdom Relocation, Resources, Heroes

Just getting started in Fate War Global? Whether you’re here for the free launch rewards or looking to climb the leaderboards without spending a dime, this beginner’s guide will walk you through everything you need to know – from codes and kingdom transfers to VIP tips and resource management.

Let’s get into it.

Fate War Beginner Guide – Kingdom Relocation, Resources, Heroes

1. Launch Coupon Code – Don’t Miss It

Before doing anything else, make sure to redeem the launch coupon code:

  • Code: joinnow
  • Expires: August 31st
  • How to Redeem:
    1. Tap your Avatar (top-left corner)
    2. Go to Settings > Redemption Code
    3. Enter the code
    4. Head to your Mailbox to claim rewards

If you pre-registered, you’ll also get a bunch of bonus goodies!

2. How to Change Kingdoms (Play with Friends)

If you want to join a different kingdom to play with your friends, do this early or you’ll miss the chance forever:

  • Open your Backpack
  • Look for the item called Novice Relocator
  • Use it before your City Hall reaches Level 9
  • You also only have 10 days from account creation to use it

Important: Don’t confuse this with the “Relocator near Tribe Leader” – they look similar, but the Novice Relocator changes your server, while the other just moves your location on the map.

3. Settings for Better Graphics (PC vs Mobile)

  • Mobile Players: Stuck in vertical portrait mode
  • PC Players (Steam/Epic): Play in landscape horizontal layout

Make sure to go into Settings > System Settings and:

  • Change Graphics to High
  • Set Frame Rate to High (60 FPS)
  • Adjust Resolution for best quality (especially on PC)

4. VIP System Explained (Free-to-Play Friendly?)

Yes, the game has a VIP system, and yes, it usually favors spenders. But surprisingly – it’s viable as free-to-play:

  • You gain VIP XP daily from logging in
  • Use your gems to buy more VIP XP
  • The guide’s creator hit VIP 6 without spending a dollar

Pro Tip: Save gems and only use them to increase VIP level, especially early on. The passive buffs from VIP can be game-changing.

5. Follow Chapter Quests (Seriously, Do It)

Your main progression should always follow the Chapter Quests:

  • Unlocks new buildings and features
  • Gives large amounts of resources (food, wood, stones, summoning stones)
  • Teaches the flow of the game naturally

It might feel grindy at times, but this is the backbone of early game progress.

6. Resource Production: Focus on the Scholar Circle

Instead of placing and upgrading dozens of farms or lumberyards, Fate War uses a different approach:

  • Buildings like Small Farm and Small Scholar Circle manage passive generation
  • You assign peasants to these buildings
  • You upgrade capacity, efficiency, and trip volume using coins

Out of all these, the Scholar Circle is the most important early on:

  • It generates Knowledge, required for Research
  • The deeper your research gets, the more knowledge you’ll need
  • So upgrade this early and often

7. Coins – The Backbone of Your City

Coins are needed for:

  • Upgrading resource nodes
  • Research
  • General development

How to Get Coins:

A. Trading House

  • Complete trade requests daily
  • You can refresh tasks and earn additional chests
  • Once you fulfill 10 requests, you unlock a big reward chest

B. City Hall – Taxes

  • Collect taxes from your peasants
  • You can collect twice per day for free
  • Additional collections cost special currency (you get a few free daily)

Pro Tip: Collect taxes at the end of the day for maximum value, since your progress throughout the day will increase the amount you earn.

8. Hero System – Who to Upgrade?

No need to stress over hero builds right away – Fate War actually has built-in hero guides:

  • Shows you recommended talent builds
  • Suggests pairings and skill priorities

Best Early Game Hero – Balder

  • Event ongoing that gives tons of Balder shards
  • Very easy to upgrade:
    • 3 out of 4 skills can be maxed quickly
    • Can carry you through PvE and chapter quests
    • Gets to 3-star early with no real investment

Stick with Blue or Purple heroes early on — legendaries are harder to max out as a free-to-play player.

Final Tips for New Players

  • Spend gems only on VIP XP, not summons
  • Relocate to your friend’s server early or miss the chance
  • Upgrade the Scholar Circle before other resource buildings
  • Collect taxes at night for best returns
  • Prioritize Chapter Quests over everything else
  • Play on PC if you hate portrait mode (Steam or Epic)
