KCD2 Legacy of the Forge Achievements Guide (September 2025)
This is a streamlined, spoiler‑light walkthrough for the Legacy of the Forge DLC in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. It organizes every achievement into a practical order, highlights all missables, and gives you a clean routing plan so you don’t lock yourself out.
KCD2 Legacy of the Forge DLC adds 11 achievements; 9 are missable. Guild Prestige comes from daily tasks that reset around 9:00 AM. Core loop: rebuild the forge, raise Prestige, complete task chains for the Guild, and reunite with Martin’s old companions.

Story Achievements
Master of the Blacksmiths’ Guild
You pass the Trial and become Master blacksmith. Expect:
- A short quiz about blacksmithing.
- Crafting a high‑quality sword.
- Bushek sells an instruction book for ~100 groschen (optional but helpful).
Tips
- If you played KCD1/2 forging, you’ll be fine.
- If in doubt, buy Bushek’s book, read it, and quick‑save before attempting the sword.
Martin’s Legacy
Complete the DLC main story. If you follow the task chains below, you’ll earn this naturally.
Missable Achievements — Step‑by‑Step
Racing the Leech (Secret)
During the main story you’ll hunt Standa the Fly. He owes Leech (a guard).
- Challenge Leech to a horse race and win.
- Stack advantages: fastest horse you can afford, light gear (remove heavy armor), Aesop potion, Head Start perk, good saddle/bridle/horseshoes.
- Leech is quick; clean riding lines matter more than raw speed.
Two Brothers (Secret)
Resolve things with Koniash without a fight via the Kuttenberg Sharpshooters (archery contest) repeatable tasks.
- Keep doing Sharpshooters until Raven opens up about his past → this starts the final quest.
- Speak to the Bailiff, examine the denunciation note.
- Meet Koniash and blackmail him by confronting him with the evidence.
Note: This chain also ties into Innovator rewards later (see “Innovator” section).
The Ragman’s Dream
Keep doing Sinners of Kuttenberg (thieving contracts) until Ragman asks you to recover a stolen permit.
- Retrieve documents, return them intact.
Note: This chain also pays out sketches for Innovator later.
Warlock’s Riddle (Secret)
In In the Service of the Guild (Investigation) with Bushek, you’re tasked with an alchemist, Johan Lasnius, at an inn outside Kuttenberg.
- Solve the riddle to complete the task.
- This quest can also influence sketch rewards for Innovator (see below).
Silent Partner (Secret)
In In the Service of the Guild for Guild Master Klaus Eichner, on the final task:
- Follow Klaus to Olbert, then to an abandoned shaft.
- Loot the dagger evidence and leave the site without killing anyone.
- Knockouts are fine; just avoid kills.
- Return the proof to Klaus/Olbert.
Note: There are two sketches in nearby chests here—don’t leave without them (see Innovator).
Voice of the Bell (Secret)
Do Alms (donation) tasks until you get the Old Kutna one.
- First complete “The Mouth of Hell” (Father Marian).
- Speak to Father Marian and donate 2,000 groschen for the bell repair.
- Wait 3 days, return before noon, look at the bell when it rings to pop the achievement.
Crafting & Property Achievements
Home Sweet Home!
Repair everything in your room, house, and property.
- This is a late‑progress purchase sink: expect ~40–50k groschen total and ~16 Prestige minimum.
- Work through your forge expansion first (armourer/caster shelters, etc.), then finish all décor/furniture/repairs.
Nevermore (Secret)
Buy the raven for your room once you have 25 Prestige.
- Counts as a unique décor acquisition.
Innovator — All New Weapons and Armour
Goal: Obtain every new weapon/armour unlocked by your journeymen:
- Weapons (3): Basilisk warhammer, Buchar mace, Pushko’s Push’em handgun
- Armour (5): Kuttenberg bascinet, layered cuirass, ornated cuirass, plate sleeves, plate legs
Requirements
- Build Armourer’s shelter (for Standa) and Foundryman’s shelter (for Pushko).
- Recruit Standa and Pushko during the main quest.
- Collect 8 sketches total: Armourer I–V and Caster I–III.
- Hand sketches to the right craftsman and wait 1–2 in‑game days for fabrication, then purchase the items.
Where the Sketches Come From (All Sources)
- First “In the Service of the Guild” task
- Armourer II OR Armourer III (one of these, not both).
- Subsequent “In the Service of the Guild” repeatables
- Random sketch drops in Investigation tasks.
- They’re fixed per playthrough; reloading won’t change the roll. Duplicates possible.
- Reward for the Alchemist Riddle (Warlock’s Riddle)
- Armourer V if you pick “I’d like better materials” or “I don’t want anything.”
- If you miss it here, it can still drop from later Guild repeatables.
- Final Carpenter Raven quest (Kuttenberg Sharpshooters) — ties to Two Brothers
- Armourer IV: right after the cutscene, sprint to Koniash’s camp chest and loot it.
- Caster III: after finishing the Raven chain, buy it from Raven at the mill south of Kuttenberg.
- Final Guild Master Klaus quest (Silent Partner)
- Caster II: small chest near the dagger evidence in the shaft.
- Armourer I: large locked chest near the above.
- Final Ragman quest (Sinners of Kuttenberg) — ties to The Ragman’s Dream
- Caster I
- Armourer II OR Armourer III — whichever you didn’t receive in (1).
After you have all 8 sketches
- Deliver all to Standa/Pushko, wait the build time, then buy every new piece to pop Innovator.
Clean Routing Plan (Minimal Backtracking)
- Push main DLC until the Guild opens its repeatables and you can start
- In the Service of the Guild (Bushek/Klaus)
- Kuttenberg Sharpshooters (Raven)
- Sinners of Kuttenberg (Ragman)
- Alms (Father Marian/Old Kutna)
- While working the Guild tasks:
- Racing the Leech during Standa the Fly’s thread (bring a fast horse kit).
- Do Warlock’s Riddle early to lock Armourer V if you want it guaranteed.
- Progress Sharpshooters toward Two Brothers (pacifist Koniash resolution).
- Progress Sinners toward The Ragman’s Dream (+sketches).
- Progress Klaus toward Silent Partner (no kills, loot both shaft chests).
- Between resets (9 AM), manage:
- Prestige growth (aim for 25 for Nevermore, higher for Home Sweet Home!).
- Donations toward Voice of the Bell (complete “The Mouth of Hell,” donate 2k, wait 3 days, return before noon).
- Build Armourer/Foundry shelters, recruit Standa/Pushko, and feed them sketches as you obtain them.
- After you finish the four chains above, you should have all Armourer I–V and Caster I–III.
- Wait the 1–2 day craft times and buy everything → Innovator.
- Endgame tidy‑up:
- Pour cash into full property/room repairs → Home Sweet Home!
- Purchase raven décor at 25 Prestige → Nevermore.
- Finish the DLC story beats for Martin’s Legacy if not already done.
Money, Prestige, and Practical Tips
- Prestige rises fastest by clearing daily Guild tasks; rotate chains to avoid downtime.
- Keep Groschen flowing: hunting, high‑value loot routes, dice, or bulk crafts. You’ll want 50k+ total for full property work.
- When a task sends you underground or into guarded areas (e.g., Silent Partner), bring:
- Quiet footwear, stealth gear, a few Saviour Schnapps, and non‑lethal options.
- For Racing the Leech, strip heavy armor and use a saddle/bridle/horseshoe set that maximizes speed and stamina. Aesop helps.
If you follow the chain order above and keep an eye on the missables, you’ll cleanly 100% Legacy of the Forge without grinding or guesswork. The key is to juggle the four repeatable task lines, loot the specific sketch chests when they appear, and return for time‑gated events like the Old Kutna bell.
