Medabots Survivors Tier List & Meta Guide (Global Launch)

If you’ve been grinding through the early stages of Medabots Survivors and wondering which Medabots are actually worth building, this guide summarizes community impressions and early meta discussions from experienced players.

Since the global launch is still fresh, the tier list below is based on early-game performance (around Stage 10) and some input from players with experience in the JP version.

Medabots Survivors Tier List & Meta Guide (Global Launch)

Medabots Survivors Tier List & Meta Guide (Global Launch)

Medabots Survivors follows a survivor-style format where:

  • Area damage and crowd control are extremely valuable
  • Single-target burst becomes important for bosses
  • Positioning heavily affects performance
  • Some units scale much better after unlocking burst upgrades

Because of this, the strongest Medabots are usually those that:

  • Provide consistent AoE damage
  • Don’t require awkward positioning
  • Offer strong burst skills
  • Control enemy movement

S Tier (Top Meta Picks)

These units are considered the strongest overall based on community feedback.

Mega Emperor

Often described as “the GOAT,” Mega Emperor dominates with high missile damage and an extremely powerful burst laser attack. He performs well against both crowds and bosses, making him one of the most versatile SP units.

If you pull him, he’s absolutely worth investing in.

Metabee (SP)

Metabee starts as a strong single-target DPS and becomes even stronger once you unlock his burst missiles, which significantly improve his area damage.

He scales very well and remains relevant into later stages.

Robo-Emperor

Robo-Emperor brings strong weapon variety and consistent damage output. While not always ranked above Mega Emperor, he remains one of the most reliable SP damage dealers.

A Tier (Very Strong, Slightly Situational)

These Medabots perform extremely well but may have minor limitations or require better positioning.

Gloomeg

Consistently among the top damage dealers in many teams. Reliable and strong in most situations without requiring complicated setup.

Lealila

Delivers solid damage without needing strict positioning, which makes her beginner-friendly and dependable during chaotic waves.

Shoot Spider

A strong control-based unit that pairs well with defensive setups. When combined with units like Orkamar, it creates a defensive playstyle where enemies weaken themselves before reaching you.

Ghost Ship

Replaces Tornaderator in most setups once acquired. Provides better overall area control and more efficient wave clearing.

B Tier (Good but Position-Dependent)

These units are viable but require more careful usage.

Orkamar

Great at clearing squishy enemies that rush toward you. Works especially well in trap-based or defensive setups.

Zungarian

Offers good spread damage but requires you to face enemies directly, making movement less comfortable during intense waves.

Totalizer

Strong against crowds but heavily dependent on proper positioning. Can struggle in more chaotic maps.

C Tier (Early Game or Replaced Quickly)

These units work early but are often replaced once better options are available.

Cyan Dog

Decent single-target damage but quickly replaced by Zhuk, who is available for free in the current event and performs better overall.

Tornaderator

Provides area control but is largely outclassed by Ghost Ship.

Best Synergy Setup (Defensive Playstyle)

One popular combo mentioned by players:

  • Shoot Spider (trap slow + damage)
  • Orkamar (gravity field pressure)

This setup allows you to stand still while enemies walk into traps and weaken themselves before reaching your position. It’s especially effective against melee-heavy waves.

SP Units vs Regular Units

SP Medabots generally outperform regular versions due to:

  • Stronger burst skills
  • Better scaling
  • Higher damage ceilings

If you are rerolling, aiming for top SP units like Metabee or Mega Emperor is recommended.

Early Game Tier Priority

If you’re just starting:

  1. Focus on strong AoE units first
  2. Secure one reliable boss killer
  3. Upgrade units with consistent, predictable skills
  4. Avoid overinvesting in position-heavy characters early

Since the game is still new globally, rankings may shift as players unlock deeper upgrades and test late-game stages. However, Mega Emperor and Metabee currently stand out as top-tier investments.
