PEAK How to Easily Obtain the Endurance Badge Achievement

Climbing 50 meters without falling can be trickier than it sounds—especially if you’re struggling to find a safe spot that won’t kill you on the way down. After testing a bunch of spots and approaches, I found a super consistent and safe method that worked perfectly for me. If you’re stuck on this achievement, this guide might save you a lot of frustration.

Preparation

To set yourself up for a smooth climb:

  • Do this on Tenderfoot difficulty – no need to make it harder than it needs to be.

  • Bring a cooked lollipop – these give you a nice stamina boost.

  • Bring a cooked energy drink – helps a ton with stamina regen.

  • Make sure both your base stamina and bonus stamina are full before starting.

Having these buffs active will make the climb way more forgiving, especially as your energy starts to dip.

Execution

Here’s exactly what I did:

  1. Head through the Shore, Tropics, Alpine, and Caldera biomes.

  2. Stop before entering the Kiln, and look to the side of the mountain near the entrance. There’s a clean, climbable area there with minimal interruptions.

  3. At the base of the mountain, drop everything you’re carrying, except the lollipop, energy drink, and optionally a piton (if you want a safety net).

  4. Clear any debuffs – make sure you’re not hungry, dehydrated, or suffering from any status effects.

  5. Eat the lollipop first (since it takes a bit longer), then chug the energy drink right after.

  6. Start climbing. Grab the wall and spam the lunge button to make fast upward progress.

  7. Once your bonus energy is nearly gone, you’ve got two options:

    • Place a piton to rest safely.

    • Or, if you don’t want to use one, slide back down and re-grab the wall close to the bottom to avoid fall damage. I went with the second option, and it worked fine.

  8. Keep going up until you’re nearly out of stamina—the achievement should pop when you’re near the top of your climb.

Conclusion

It might seem like a lot of prep, but this method was the easiest and safest way I found to hit that 50m climb without falling. I spent too long looking for the “perfect” climbing spot, so hopefully, this guide saves you that time. Good luck out there—and happy climbing!
