Character Creation and First Steps

I started by creating my character. Even though I couldn’t see an option to choose from existing ones, I ended up with a pretty cool blue-themed trainer with a black outfit and, of course, my backpack.

After a dramatic intro and a teleport later, I found myself outside my house in Sunburst Valley. It felt so real, even with the slightly wonky camera angles.

Meeting the Professor and Getting a Starter Animon

I met this shady character, Yoshikage Kira, who challenged me to a battle. Let’s just say things didn’t go well for me.

Luckily, Professor Oak (wait, what?) showed up just in time and offered me my very first Animon. I chose the fire-type Sasken, because, well, fire is awesome.

My First Battle (and Defeat)

Professor Oak sent me off to fight another trainer. Feeling confident with Sasken by my side, I took him on. Big mistake. Turns out, this trainer’s Animon was strong against fire types, and I was quickly defeated.

Helping the Villagers and Getting Robbed (?!)

After getting knocked out, I woke up outside the Professor’s lab. I helped a few villagers with their errands, even healing an Animon at the Pokémon Center (wait, I mean, the Animon Center!).

Then, something crazy happened as a guy named Terri stole an old man named Jose’s shorts. (Seriously, this game is wild!) I chased after him to retrieve the stolen garment, but before I could return it, I got robbed myself.

Looking for Terri, I finally stumbled upon him and got the shorts back. Feeling kind-hearted, I went to hand it over to Jose, and got x1 C-Potion and x250 Credits for helping him out.

The Happy Costume and the Library Quiz

After that ordeal, the server shut down (got to love those online games!), and when I returned, things were a bit different. The graphics seemed smoother, and there was even a new NPC selling costumes.

I, of course, had to get the adorable Happy costume from Fairy Tail. I then met a librarian who challenged me to a trivia quiz about different Animon types and their weaknesses.

It was actually kind of fun, and I even managed to get a perfect score. As a reward, I received Happy pajamas.

Back to Battling and Avoiding Trouble

Now sporting my new PJs, I continued my journey through Sunburst Forest. I encountered another trainer and, having learned my lesson, I decided to avoid the fight. Phew!

Wrapping Up Day 1

That’s all for day one of my Pocket Anime adventure. I’ve explored the town, battled some trainers (with mixed results), helped some villagers, and even got ta a taste of the game’s quirky humor.

I still have a lot to discover, but so far, I’m hooked.
