The Hairstylist Treasure event is returning, and it’s one of the most generous limited-time events Survivor.io offers. If you plan your moves correctly, you can walk away with epic tech parts, resonance chip chests, collectible upgrades, and a long list of milestone rewards without wasting gems.

This guide breaks down every important detail, explains how the board works, and shows you the best strategy to maximize rewards using the least amount of tickets.

Survivor.io Hairstylist Treasure Event Guide – Resonance Chips

November 14 to November 19

You have six days to complete missions, use tickets, push the board, and claim milestone rewards. All progress resets once the event ends, so make sure you finish your target rewards before the timer expires.

How the Event Works

At its core, the event is a vertical push board. You spend tickets to drop columns downward, collect rewards, and upgrade items on the board as you play.

Here’s the full breakdown.

How to Get Tickets

You’ll need Hairstylist Tickets to make moves on the board. You can earn them from multiple sources:

  • Starting bonus: 5 tickets
  • Event missions: Up to 439 tickets if you complete everything
  • Watch one ad daily through the event shop
  • Buy extra tickets for 150 gems
  • Real money bundles (optional)

You cannot get far without mission tickets, so clear those first before spending your gems.

How the Board and Drops Work

Each ticket draw pushes 1 to 4 random columns down by one row. Whatever crosses the black bottom area drops as a reward to your inventory.

As you drop items, you’ll notice several important mechanics:

1. Upgrade Gift Boxes

When an upgrade box reaches the bottom, it automatically upgrades a random remaining reward on the board.
Upgrades can be surprisingly impactful, turning a small reward into a premium one.

2. Increasing Ticket Cost

Your first ticket use costs 1 ticket.
After several pulls, the cost rises to 2, then eventually 4 per pull.

This makes efficient targeting extremely important because the board becomes more expensive the longer you push.

3. Partial Refresh

You do not need to wait for every column to reach the bottom.
As soon as any one column finishes, you can hit Refresh and load a new board.

This allows you to chase specific drops without burning your entire ticket supply.

Choice Rewards Explained

Before starting each new board, you can choose two specific rewards to place on the top two rows.
This gives you a direct way to guarantee the items you want most.

The system works like this:

  • The top row contains your first chosen reward.
  • The second row contains your second chosen reward.
  • You can also put choice rewards into the x2 slot, doubling your payout when you hit that slot.

Once placed, each reward’s exact position might shuffle within its row, but their rows never change.
This positioning system makes it far easier to target key items like tech parts or keys.

Event Rewards Overview

You can earn rewards in three ways:

1. Board Drops

Anything that reaches the bottom is yours immediately.

2. Milestones

As you collect bells from drops, you progress toward milestone rewards such as:

  • Keys
  • Epic collectible chest
  • S-grade excellent equipment pack
  • Legendary collectible resonance chip advanced choice chest
  • Epic tech part choice packs

The resonance chip chest is the primary high-value target, requiring 5,250 bells.

3. Ranking

Your ranking is based on your total hairdryers. If two players have the same amount, the one who reaches the score first ranks higher.
This is mostly for competitive players chasing ranking rewards.

Best Strategy to Maximize Rewards

This event looks chaotic at first, but the community has tested optimal techniques over several previous reruns.
Here’s the method that consistently gives the best value.

1. Always Set Your Choice Rewards Before Pushing

Your choice rewards appear in the top rows every board, giving you guaranteed chances to claim tech parts, collectibles, and key items.

Use the x2 multiplier whenever you’re targeting a high-value reward.

2. Use Single Tickets Until the Board Hits the 2-Ticket Stage

The very early pulls are cheap. Take advantage of them:

  • Use 1-ticket pushes to collect quick drops.
  • Try to get upgrade boxes to fall early, boosting rewards on the board before it becomes expensive.

3. Refresh as Soon as a Single Column Reaches the Bottom

Do not wait for all columns to finish.
Once any one column reaches the bottom:

  • Check your remaining rewards.
  • Hit Refresh if the board no longer offers what you want.

This helps you cycle boards quickly until you see valuable targets near the top.

4. Focus on Bells Early, Then Switch to Targeted Rewards

Bells unlock milestones, which is where the high-end rewards are hidden.

A strong early-game strategy:

  • Push boards focused on bell clusters.
  • After securing enough bells for key milestones, switch to boards containing your highest-value items.

5. Use Gems Only After Clearing All Missions

Mission tickets stretch very far.
Only buy gem tickets if you’re close to a major milestone such as:

  • Resonance chip chest
  • Epic tech part pack
  • S-grade equipment pack

Do not spend gems blindly.
