Tiles Survive Season 3 Faction System, Lighthouse Gudie

When you first load into Season 3, one of the biggest differences you notice isn’t even a building — it’s the visual effect. Everything starts off looking dark, almost like night vision or fog of war. It can honestly feel like something is wrong with the game at first.

That clears up once you build the lighthouse. After that, visibility improves and the map returns closer to normal colors.

Lighthouse and Night Effect

The lighthouse is one of the first major buildings you interact with. Before it’s built, the map stays covered in a dark visual effect that makes it harder to see clearly.

Once you finish constructing it, that effect is reduced, and the overall view becomes much easier to manage.

Two Starting Buildings

At the beginning of the season, you choose between two main buildings. Both options share the exact same skill trees and development paths.

The difference comes down to what you want to focus on — things like boosting research and building speed or increasing combat power.

Quartz and Tungsten

Season 3 introduces two main resources: quartz and tungsten. These are tied directly to the new seasonal progression.

Additional resources become available if you purchase the season pass, expanding what you can unlock.

Copper and Faction System

One of the biggest changes this season is the faction setup tied to copper. Alliances from different states can be grouped together into the same faction.

These factions compete collectively to gather copper, which creates a stronger focus on coordination between multiple states rather than just individual alliances.

Copper Clash

The main copper clash itself hasn’t really changed. The structure remains familiar — you still attack layers, fight over bricks, and earn points in the same way as before.

So while the faction system is new, the core clash mechanics feel the same as earlier seasons.

Hero Upgrade – Chef

The upgradeable hero for Season 3 is Chef. Once fully starred, Chef can be upgraded into a higher rarity.

After the upgrade, you can see noticeable increases in damage, defense, and health. His ultimate skill also becomes stronger, improving the healing effect.

Changing the Upgrade Hero

You aren’t locked into upgrading Chef if you don’t want to. The system allows you to switch and choose a different hero if you’re missing someone specific.

So even though Chef is featured, there’s flexibility in what you decide to upgrade.

Seasonal Buildings

As the season progresses, more buildings unlock. Some focus on research speed, building speed, healing duration, and gathering speed.

Other buildings tied to the alternate lighthouse type focus more on combat bonuses like dealing more damage or reducing damage taken in clashes and Arcadia battles.

Communication Between States

Because factions now combine alliances from different states, Season 3 relies more heavily on coordination.

Players from multiple states will need to work together to gather points and compete for copper, making teamwork across states much more important than before.
