Mecharashi 1.1 Update – Chip Synthesis, Weapon Accessories

Version 1.1 of Mecharashi introduces one of the most substantial updates since launch. With it comes a variety of game-changing systems, deeper progression mechanics, and major quality-of-life additions. While this update provides players with more strategic options and build variety, it also introduces complexity that may feel overwhelming at first.

This Mecharashi 1.1 Update guide is written to help you understand each system, know what to prioritize, and avoid wasting resources early on.

New Friend System and Gold Membership Unit Hiring

Upon reaching Expedition Permit Level 22, players will unlock the new Friend System. You can now add other players to your friend list and request assistance from them in certain stage battles. The update also introduces a global chat feature, allowing players to communicate more openly within the game.

In addition, a new system tied to Gold Membership allows players to hire one ST+ pilot per day. These hired units can be deployed in main story content, elite battles, critical operations, and the newly added “Arm Conquest” missions.

It is important to note that pilot attempts do not consume your daily hire, and the hire is only counted when a mission is completed. This system is especially beneficial for free-to-play players who lack high-end units for difficult content.

Veillet Armory Trader

A new trader known as the Veillet Armory will appear after clearing certain missions from the 1.1 update. This trader offers a random selection of valuable items including chips, energy pots, selector boxes, and pilot tickets.

It is highly recommended that players always purchase any tickets that appear in the shop. These tickets are valuable regardless of your spending level. If you are a low spender or free-to-play player, you should also consider buying any Gamma 6 yellow or red gold chips that appear, as these are extremely rare drops from simulation battles. Prioritize these chips over other resources if they show up in the shop.

Chip Synthesis and Reconfiguration System

A completely new chip crafting system has been introduced and becomes available after clearing Simulation Battle 51. This system allows you to upgrade chip quality or increase chip CP by combining existing chips.

There are three main mechanics introduced:

Chip Quality Upgrade
You can combine five chips of the same CP and quality to receive one chip of higher quality. For example, combining five blue chips results in one random purple chip, and combining five purple chips results in one random gold chip. This is useful because blue and purple chips are not viable for endgame builds and can now be converted into gold-quality alternatives.

Chip CP Upgrade
You can combine four gold chips of the same CP level to receive one gold chip of a higher CP. For example, four Gamma 1 chips can be combined to create one Gamma 2 chip. This allows you to climb the CP ladder for endgame chip setups.

Chip Reconfiguration (Reroll)
This feature allows you to consume two gold chips of the same CP to receive one random gold chip with the same CP. It is particularly useful when hunting for ideal chip colors or effects for final builds.

Endgame chip setups for DPS-focused pilots typically involve the following:

  • Red gold Alpha 3 chip
  • Yellow gold Alpha 3 chip
  • Blue gold Alpha 1 chip
  • Gamma 6 red and yellow chips are preferred over lower CP versions

Avoid rolling for non-essential CP levels such as Alpha 2 or Gamma 2 unless absolutely necessary.

Backpack Crafting – Rank Two and Future Rainbow Variants

The update introduces the ability to craft Rank Two backpacks, though it is strongly advised not to rush into crafting them without understanding the full implications.

To create a Rank Two backpack, you will need the following materials:

  • A new blueprint purchased from the trader
  • One base gold backpack of the same type
  • One purple backpack (preferably not a purple power bank)
  • One gold jammer or amplifier

It is important to avoid using purple power banks in crafting, as these will be needed in the future for Rainbow backpacks. Instead, use purple jammers or amplifiers as crafting materials. Once crafted, the Rank Two backpack will retain a side effect determined by the jammer or amplifier used. This side effect is permanent and cannot be changed later.

This becomes extremely important in the future, as Rainbow backpacks require a very specific Rank Two base with an exact side effect. If you use the wrong amplifier or jammer now, you may end up with a backpack that cannot be used in the Rainbow recipe. Since backpacks are rare and valuable, it is highly recommended that players wait for a dedicated backpack crafting guide before committing their materials.

Weapon Accessory System and Tuning Mechanics

A brand-new system for weapon enhancement has been introduced through the Claranca Ops stage, specifically Stage 10. Weapons obtained here come with additional mod slots known as accessories.

Each weapon can equip up to three accessories—two on the right side and one on the left. Future weapons may support four slots, but for now, the setup is limited to three. These accessories fall into two categories: “If” conditions (left slot) and “Do” effects (right slots).

For example, you might equip an accessory on the left that says “If hit rate is above 80%,” and combine it with a right-side accessory that provides a 20 percent chance to apply a buff, and another that gives a 31 percent chance to deal bonus damage. This setup means that when your unit attacks with an 80% hit rate or higher, it has a chance to trigger those effects.

Accessory effects vary in both quality and activation chance:

  • Gold accessories have the highest activation chance
  • Blue accessories have the lowest activation chance

You may also choose to equip two “If” conditions and one “Do” effect if you prefer to increase consistency rather than impact. Accessories can be safely removed and reused, and if a weapon is sold, all accessories will be automatically unequipped.

For now, the most important thing to remember is that you must equip at least one “If” accessory and one “Do” accessory for effects to activate during combat.

Explorer Quest Season 1 – Battle Pass 2

The new battle pass, titled Explorer Quest Season 1, offers a structured progression system with both free and premium reward tracks.

The free battle pass includes the following rewards:

  • One Bionic pilot
  • Fourteen energy pots
  • Two purple backpacks
  • One purple SD selector box
  • Two hundred gems
  • Several gold chips and banana currency

Purchasing the standard (mid-tier) battle pass unlocks the second reward line, which includes:

  • One additional Bionic (total of two)
  • Five ST pilot tickets
  • Two blueprint items
  • One pilot selector (choice between Hong and Gumushe)

Purchasing the premium battle pass unlocks all three reward lines. This includes:

  • A total of three Bionics
  • Five ST pilot tickets
  • Four ST part selectors, which can be used either to complete one full ST unit or to distribute across multiple units

In terms of recommendation:

  • New players should select Hong as their pilot choice
  • Players who already have Hong may consider Gumushe, who is useful in upcoming Weapon Stages due to her ability to disable boss movement
  • If you plan to complete Glacia’s rainbow build, choose Glacia from the premium reward track

The battle pass runs for six weeks, similar to the Chinese server schedule. Players who are planning their resources around future banners should keep this cycle in mind.

Suggested Priorities After Patch 1.1

To help structure your progression, here is a general priority list to follow:

  1. Unlock the chip synthesis system and begin combining blue and purple chips into gold-quality ones.
  2. Farm Claranca Ops 10 for new weapon drops with accessory slots.
  3. Avoid crafting Rank Two backpacks until the official backpack crafting guide is available.
  4. Spend your Veillet Armory currency wisely. Always prioritize tickets, and purchase Gamma 6 gold chips if they appear.
  5. Use the battle pass strategically by choosing units and parts that help complete your existing builds or finish rainbow setups.

The 1.1 update in Mecharashi significantly deepens the gameplay experience. While the learning curve has increased, the new systems provide powerful tools for refining your builds and progressing further into elite content. Take your time to understand chip mechanics, be cautious with crafting decisions, and prioritize ticket and resource usage.
