Forge Master Pets Guide – How to Obtain Pet Eggs, Tier List
Pets are one of the most important progression systems in Forge Master, offering passive damage and health that scale your survivability and overall dungeon performance. Understanding how eggs work, how to hatch them efficiently, and which pets provide the best stat value at each rarity tier will help you push deeper into the campaign and clear Invasion Dungeons more reliably.
This guide breaks down every egg type, the full pet list with stats, and the best practices for hatching and upgrading.
How to Obtain Pet Eggs
Pet eggs are exclusively earned from the Invasion Dungeon.
Each Invasion key grants two eggs by default, regardless of your stage.
You can increase the number of eggs you gain per key by upgrading the Extra Egg Chance tech tree node. This upgrade gives you a chance to receive an additional egg per dungeon key, effectively boosting long-term egg income if you run Invasions frequently.
Egg Hatching Slots
You begin with two hatching slots, which means only two eggs can be incubated at the same time.
Additional slots can be purchased:
- 3rd Slot: 200 Gems
- 4th Slot: 400 Gems
Unlocking extra slots massively speeds up your long-term progression because egg timers are fairly long, especially for high-rarity eggs.
You can also reduce hatch time by leveling up relevant tech tree nodes. This becomes especially valuable once you start earning Epic, Legendary, and Mythic eggs.
Egg Types and Pet List
Each egg type begins dropping from a specific campaign chapter, and higher-rarity eggs take longer to hatch but reward significantly stronger pets.

Which Pets Should You Prioritize?
Here’s a progression-friendly priority list:
Early Game (Chapters 1–2)
Snail or Turtle for tanking
Spider or Scorpion for killing early waves quickly
Mid Game (Chapters 3–5)
Saber Tooth or Tiger as your primary damage
Griffin or Panda as your frontline
Late Game (Chapters 5–7)
Kitsune or Serpent for high damage
Cerberus for durability
Electry for unmatched DPS
Treant for maximum tanking
Endgame (Chapter 7+)
Mythic pets will overshadow everything once their stats are known. Expect them to become the optimal choice for all content.
Hatching Strategy
To make the most out of eggs:
- Always keep all slots active. Empty slots slow long-term progress.
- Prioritize hatching high-rarity eggs overnight.
- Use Common and Rare eggs for quick fills during active play sessions.
- Upgrade your hatch time reduction tech tree early if you aim for rapid progression.
- Buy the third and fourth hatch slots once you consistently earn higher-tier eggs.
Pets form the backbone of your long-term strength in Forge Master. Whether you need raw damage, tanking, or balanced stat distribution, every egg tier introduces something valuable to your lineup. Focus on expanding your hatch slots, upgrading your tech tree, and prioritizing the strongest pets in each rarity tier. As you push deeper into Invasion Dungeon content and unlock Mythic eggs, your pet roster will become one of the most important components of your overall power.
