Alright, so Habby just dropped the 4.5.0 patch notes and honestly? This might be the update we’ve been waiting for. New S-Grade survivor, friend battles that should’ve existed from day one, and—thank god—we can finally open 50 crates at once instead of spam-tapping like maniacs.
Survivor.io 4.5.0 Update 2026: New Survivor, Friend Duels
Venato is Coming (February 11th)
New S-Grade survivor alert. Her name’s Venato, she’s got a huge sword, and the teaser art shows her doing… sword stuff. And there are bats for some reason? No clue what her skills are yet, but if you’ve been hoarding shards, this is probably your signal.
S-Grade means she’ll hit harder than the base roster. Whether she’s actually good or just another cash grab remains to be seen, but I’m cautiously optimistic.
Friend Battles Are FINALLY Here
Took them long enough. The new “Showdown Challenge Summit” lets you duel your actual friends instead of random matchmaking hell. Time to prove once and for all who’s got the better build, because we all know that one person in your Discord who won’t shut up about their loadout.
Molotov Twinborn (January 25th)
The High-Gravity Pulser is getting a “Molotov Mode” upgrade. After the Brick buffs, I’m expecting more explosions and screen clutter. They’re also giving visual updates to the Drone and Soccer Ball, which… sure. The Soccer Ball needed something, I guess.
The Real MVP: Quality of Life Changes
This is where it gets good:
- 50x crate opening – No more carpal tunnel from opening Supply Crates one by one. This alone is worth the update.
- “Select All” for salvaging – Cleaning out junk collectibles used to take forever. Not anymore.
- Steamroll in Challenges – Farm completed chapters way faster. Yes please.
- Reroll counter – You can now see how many rerolls you have left mid-run, so you don’t accidentally blow your last one on a useless skill.
Seriously, these QoL updates are huge. The devs actually listened for once.
Power Creep Intensifies
S-Grade Awakening cap is going up to 8 Stars, with buffed Harmony Skills. Translation: the whales are about to gap the F2P players even harder. Fun!
New Chapters & Events
10 new chapters (306-315), plus the usual seasonal events—Firecracker Rumble and Spring Carnival. Standard content grind stuff.
When’s It Drop?
Rolling out on Google Play January 19th-20th. iOS users gotta wait for Apple to approve it, so probably a day or two later.
