Capybara Go Brand Guide 2025 – Best Brands for Your Builds
Brands in Capybara Go! are one of the most important systems for fine-tuning your builds. With only four brand slots, choosing the right mix can completely change your performance across PvE and PvP. Currently, there are 22 brands:
- 10 Regular Brands
- 9 S-Grade Brands
- 3 SS-Grade Brands
This guide breaks down what each brand does, when to use it, and which game modes it shines in.
Capybara Go Brand Guide 2025 – Best Brands for Your Builds
Regular Brands
These are the foundation of most early- to mid-game builds. While not as flashy as higher grades, several of them remain relevant even at late-game thanks to their useful effects.
1. Green Slime
Effect: 25% chance to reduce enemy healing by 30% on attack.
Best Use: Niche counter against vampire builds. Rarely slotted otherwise.
2. Dwarf Gunner
Effect: Bonus damage against shields.
Best Use: PvP staple. Almost every opponent runs some form of shielding, making this brand surprisingly strong even late-game.
3. Spike Club Cactus
Effect: Boosts counter damage.
Best Use: Great for early-game combo + counter builds. Still usable late-game with Wukong or mailbox counter setups.
4. Bone Club Gown
Effect: Heavy Blow, crit rate, and crit damage.
Best Use: Strong starter brand that pairs well with crit-heavy weapons like Whisper or Nomad. Falls off once stronger crit options appear.
5. Nimble Murloc
Effect: Global combo damage boost.
Best Use: Still relevant today if you’re running combo-focused weapons like Sky Splitter. Surpass +4 enhances combo rate further.
6. Hell Hound
Effect: Flame waves and fire synergy.
Best Use: Worked well with Whisper and Sky Flame Ring in the past, but currently fire builds are underwhelming. May resurface when SS fire gear is released.
7. Harpy
Effect: Extra lightning bolts and damage.
Best Use: Excellent for Reaper Staff and Nashir Scepter builds, though often replaced by Joker in late-game setups.
8. Pirate Swordsman
Effect: Sword aura/sword chi boosts.
Best Use: Still a must-slot for sword users (Sky Splitter, Allorean Sword). Essential for pushing chapters.
9. Goblin Warrior
Effect: Counter-focused boosts, especially with shields and light spear.
Best Use: Core option for counter builds. Even at Epic rarity it provides value.
10. Sharp Rogue
Effect: Flame waves from dagger hits.
Best Use: Classic Whisper pairing. Still fun and effective with Sky Flame Ring.
S-Grade Brands
These provide more specialized effects and scale better than regular brands. They don’t inherently boost global stats more than regular brands, but their unique effects make them stronger choices for advanced builds.
11. Wild Vulture
- Effect: Extra combo count.
- Best Use: One of the strongest brands in the game. Still widely used, especially for combo-based builds.
12. Wise Arc Demon
- Effect: +15% skill crit rate (at Mythic).
- Best Use: Excellent for skill-focused builds (Reaper, Nashir, Star Staff).
13. Phantom Assassin
- Effect: Boosts physical damage (daggers, sword aura, light spear).
- Best Use: Whisper, Angel Bow, Sky Splitter, or counter builds.
14. Undead Swordsman
- Effect: Super crit (doubles crit damage at Mythic).
- Best Use: Extremely powerful with White Robe Wizard synergy. Top-tier once upgraded.
15. Stone Guardian
- Effect: Shield-based global damage boosts.
- Best Use: PvP counter builds revolving around Wukong + shields. Still viable today thanks to shield prevalence.
16. Lava Giant
- Effect: Buffs flame-based damage.
- Best Use: Currently niche, but could rise in value if SS fire gear (Star Staff line) becomes meta.
17. Mecha Titan
- Effect: HP/shield synergy.
- Best Use: Key part of old Wukong counter mailbox builds. Can still stall opponents in PvP.
18. Fantasy Joker
- Effect: Lightning procs, flame wave, rage recovery, and +40% skill damage at Mythic.
- Best Use: Great replacement for Harpy. Excellent for Nashir builds and rage-hungry setups.
19. Skeleton Spellblade
- Effect: Skill shield equal to 100% HP (at Mythic).
- Best Use: PvP lifesaver if you’re struggling with survivability. A great alternative to Joker for defensive builds.
SS-Grade Brands
The current top tier. These double global percentage stats compared to lower brands and introduce meta-defining effects. Hard to obtain, but worth pursuing for endgame.
20. Mechanical Magician
- Effect: Part of the final damage reduction meta.
- Best Use: PvP/endgame survival. Whale-tier brand.
21. Frankenstein (the monster, not the doctor!)
- Effect: Also part of the final damage reduction meta.
- Best Use: Same as Mechanical Magician—if you can invest, it’s a top-tier PvP option.
22. White Robe Wizard
- Effect: Raises crit cap from 500% to 700% at Mythic.
- Best Use: Insane damage scaling. Widely considered one of the best SS brands for DPS builds.
Best Brands to Prioritize
- For Combo Builds → Wild Vulture, Nimble Murloc, Pirate Swordsman
- For Skill Builds → Wise Arc Demon, Fantasy Joker, Harpy
- For Crit Damage Builds → Undead Swordsman, White Robe Wizard
- For Counter/Shield Builds → Goblin Warrior, Stone Guardian, Mecha Titan
- For PvP Survivability → Skeleton Spellblade, Mechanical Magician, Frankenstein
The Capybara Go! brand system is incredibly flexible. While SS-grade brands clearly dominate the late game with their doubled stats, don’t underestimate regular and S-grade brands. Many of them—like Wild Vulture, Pirate Swordsman, and Nimble Murloc—remain competitive all the way into endgame.
If you’re just starting:
- Mix strong regular brands with one or two S-grades.
- Focus on synergy with your weapon/build, not just rarity.
- Prioritize Joker, Wild Vulture, and Undead Swordsman if you’re looking for safe long-term investments.
