Fisch Alien Update Guide – UFO, Codes, Blade Of Glorp

The Alien Update introduces a new storyline in Fisch centered around a crashed UFO in Roslit Bay. A mysterious alien has appeared near the lighthouse, but he cannot speak your language. Before the story can progress, you must create a Translator device, learn about alien biology, and bring proof of extraterrestrial life to Dr. Creekspine. Completing this sequence unlocks access to new quests, new items, the Translator system, and eventually the Blade of Glorp.

Alongside the questline, the update also delivers strengthened Bloop behavior, improved accessory saving, abundance adjustments, and a new redeemable code.

How to Start the Alien Questline

After loading into Roslit Bay, move toward the lighthouse area to find the alien. Interacting with him reveals the first barrier: you cannot understand anything he says. The game instructs you to speak with Dr. Creekspine to learn how to communicate with him. This is the beginning of the Translator path.

The prompt highlights two important details:

• The alien is injured and carrying a mysterious blade
• You cannot begin any dialogue or quests with him without a Translator

This sends you to the next step in the update’s progression.

Where to Find Dr. Creekspine

Dr. Creekspine is located at the Oil Rig. The Oil Rig has multiple levels, so you need to climb upward to reach him. Once you find the area with scientists and machinery, continue climbing to the upper platforms. There you will find Creekspine, the NPC responsible for researching alien life.

Speak to him and select the dialogue option explaining that you saw an alien. Creekspine initially dismisses it, but when you insist, he becomes curious and asks whether you have any alien artifacts.

This leads to the first major requirement in the storyline: obtaining a mutated Gleebous.

How to Get a Gleebous Mutation

To continue, you must bring Dr. Creekspine a fish mutated with Gleebous. This mutation appears randomly when fishing, similar to other uncommon modifiers already present in Fisch. There is no specific location requirement; instead, you simply fish until a catch appears that carries the mutated tag.

Gleebous mutations are uncommon but not extremely rare. Consistent fishing will eventually provide one. Once you have the mutated fish, return to the Oil Rig and give it to Dr. Creekspine. This step unlocks his research and advances the Translator storyline.

How to Get the Translator

After delivering the mutated Gleebous fish, Dr. Creekspine provides instructions on crafting a Translator. The Translator requires three parts that can only be obtained through fishing in specific locations across the world.

The three parts come from:

• Roslit Island
• Sunstone Island
• The Open Ocean

Each Translator component is a common-quality drop, meaning it does not require special bait or rod levels. However, many players report that Garbage Bait increases the chance of obtaining them more quickly, since it shifts loot tables toward debris-type items.

After collecting all three parts, open your crafting menu and assemble the Translator device. If the quest does not update immediately, speak to Dr. Creekspine again to confirm completion.

Unlocking Communication With the Alien

Once the Translator is crafted, return to the alien at Roslit Bay near the lighthouse. Giving him the Translator enables full communication, opening the door to new quests, new lore, and the path toward unlocking the Blade of Glorp.

This step transforms the alien from a background NPC into a full quest-giver and begins the storyline that defines the Alien Update.

Other Features Included in the Update

The update introduces several secondary changes that affect gameplay outside the storyline.

Strengthened Bloop Behavior
The Bloop species has been rebalanced. They now spawn less frequently, but each encounter is more dangerous. Their bite damage has increased significantly, requiring more caution when using low-control rods.

Accessory Save System
Accessories now save properly between sessions, removing the previous risk of losing cosmetic or functional items.

Random Abundance Adjustments
Fish spawning and regional abundance values have been updated. Players may notice certain fish appearing more or less often depending on region.

New Code
A redeemable code was added with the update:
• alien
Enter it to receive bonuses tied to the event.

What Comes After the Translator

Once you can speak with the alien, you unlock the main quest chain that eventually rewards the Blade of Glorp, one of the strongest and most unique rods in the game. This entire progression revolves around Gleebous, relic interactions, and specialized tasks that push deeper into the alien theme.
