Last Asylum Plague Cheese Trap Guide – Coordination
This is one of those events that looks simple at first but actually needs proper coordination if you want clean runs and full rewards for everyone. I’m going to walk through it the same way we run it in alliance, from setup all the way to optimization.
Last Asylum Plague Cheese Trap Guide
Cheese Trap is a timed alliance event where you summon a Cheese Rat and defeat it through rallies.
- You have 30 minutes after summoning
- Rewards depend on participation and damage
- Efficiency matters more than brute force
Coordination (Most Important Step)
Before anything else, make sure people actually know it’s happening.
- Announce the day and exact time
- Use alliance chat + announcement board
- Then remind again before it starts
People will still miss it. That’s normal. Just over-communicate.
Also:
- Confirm if you’re doing one trap or both
- Make sure all R4/R5 are aligned on timing
Setting Up the Trap
Only R4/R5 can place the trap.
Once it’s placed:
- Members can see countdown timers
- There’s a limited window to prepare
- Then donation phase begins
Donating Cheese Lures
Every member can donate lures.
Key rule:
- Always aim to max the lure bar (25% Hero DMG buff)
Anything beyond max is wasted.
So:
- Coordinate donations
- Don’t dump everything blindly
- Stop once max is reached
Rally Phase (Core Gameplay)
When the rat is summoned:
- You have 30 minutes total
- Rallies take 3 minutes each
Very important rule:
Only R5 and Officers should start rallies
Why?
- R5/Officers = +5% damage boost
- Others = only +2.5%
If non-officers start rallies:
- Tell them to stop
- Have them join officer rallies instead
Rally Limits (Understanding the Math)
Each rally cycle:
3 min (rally) + march time + return time
That’s:
3 min + 2 × travel time
In perfect conditions:
- ~50 rallies possible (ideal)
- ~45 rallies realistic
Distance matters A LOT here.
Optimization (This is where wins happen)
1. Minimize Distance
Closer = more rallies.
Best method:
- Place trap slightly away from base
- 5 minutes before start:
- Set assembly marker
- R5 + officers teleport near trap
Optional:
- Direct teleport right next to trap
This saves multiple rallies over the event.
2. Remove Return Time Delay
Don’t wait for troops to return.
Instead:
- Use 2 lineups per player
- As soon as first march leaves → queue second
So:
- One lineup attacking
- One preparing next rally
This keeps rallies continuous.
3. Eliminate Downtime
Never sit idle between rallies.
Cycle like this:
- Lineup 1 → attack
- Lineup 2 → prepare
- Repeat
If done properly:
- Each officer hits ~9 rallies
Reward Optimization
Personal Rewards
Once you finish your rewards:
- You don’t gain extra benefit
- Continuing only costs troops
So:
- Stop if you’re done
- Or continue only if helping alliance
Helping Others
After main rewards are done:
- R5/Officers keep rallying
- Use lowest troop load hero
This:
- Keeps 5% bonus active
- Reduces troop loss
- Helps others complete rewards
Doing Both Cheese Traps
This is where planning matters.
Important rule:
- If you join Trap 1 → you CANNOT join Trap 2
So:
- Split alliance into two groups
- Assign R4s properly
- Rotate leadership if needed
Example:
- R5 does Trap 1
- Promote R4 → temporary R5 for Trap 2
This ensures both traps get full efficiency.
Common Mistakes
- Letting random players start rallies
- Over-donating lures and wasting them
- Not coordinating teleport positions
- Standing too far from trap
- Waiting between rallies
All of these reduce total damage significantly.
