Last War Armament Star Levels & Bonuses Explained

Unlocking T11 troops is only the beginning. If you want to take your Armored Troopers and Assault Raiders to the next level, you need to understand how Armament Star Levels work. These stars aren’t cosmetic—they unlock powerful, hidden perks that significantly boost your troop performance in real battles.

In this guide, we’ll break down what Star Levels are, how to get them, and what specific bonuses they unlock for each T11 troop type.

Last War Armament Star Levels & Bonuses Explained

What Are Armament Star Levels?

Star levels are progressive upgrades to the four Armament Research paths inside the Armament Institute. After reaching 100% research on each branch (Helmet, Armor, Weapon, and Boots), you can continue upgrading them to gain stars.

All four Armament branches must be upgraded to the same star level to activate the bonus.

The bonuses vary depending on whether you’re using Armored Troopers or Assault Raiders.

You can unlock up to 4 Stars total.

How to Increase Star Levels

Each Armament Research path has multiple additional levels beyond 100%. As you complete these upgrades:

  • Every milestone unlocks a new star
  • When all four branches (Helmet, Armor, Weapon, Boots) reach the same star level, that star bonus is activated

⚠️ Partial star upgrades won’t activate the effects. All four research paths must be on the same star level.

All Star Level Bonuses (Full Breakdown)

Here’s a table showing the full list of star level bonuses unlocked for both troop types:

Star Level 1

Troop Type Bonus Effect
Armored Trooper Ignores part of enemy unit’s “Reduce Damage Taken” effect
Assault Raider Same effect

This is a huge edge in PvP—especially in late-game battles where most high-level players rely on damage-reduction units. This star level is worth rushing early.

Star Level 2

Troop Type Bonus Effect
Armored Trooper When a battle fails, counterattacks the enemy based on number of units lost
Assault Raider When a battle succeeds, restores a portion of lightly wounded units

Strategic Value:

  • Armored Trooper: Makes you dangerous even in defeat, perfect for holding out during extended battles.
  • Assault Raider: Helps preserve troops during constant attacks, improving sustainability.

Star Level 3

Troop Type Bonus Effect
Armored Trooper Increases lethality rate when attacking
Assault Raider Same effect

More killing power. This is essential for endgame PvP and boss fights. Good all-round offensive scaling for both variants.

Star Level 4

Troop Type Bonus Effect
Armored Trooper Further reduces severe wound rate during battle
Assault Raider Further reduces squad attribute penalty when not at full troop capacity

  • Armored Trooper: Extreme sustainability—less healing needed, less downtime.
  • Assault Raider: Strong solo attackers benefit the most, especially in events where troop numbers fluctuate.

Which Star Level Should You Aim for First?

Recommended Strategy:

  • 1-Star: Rush ASAP – this gives a passive PvP damage edge and is easiest to reach.
  • 2-Star: Choose based on troop type:
    • Armored = great for war defense.
    • Assault = great for farming and rally attacks.
  • 3-Star: Offensive scaling—go for this if you’re focused on damage output.
  • 4-Star: Long-term goal. Expensive, but extremely powerful.

FAQ – Armament Star System

Q: Can I activate a star bonus with just 1 or 2 of the research lines at the right level?
No. All four (Helmet, Armor, Weapon, Boots) must be at the same star level.

Q: Do star bonuses stack?
Yes. When you reach a higher star level, you keep the benefits from the lower ones too.

Q: Is the bonus the same for both troop types?
Some bonuses are shared, but Stars 2 and 4 have different effects depending on your troop choice (defense vs. offense).

Q: How long does it take to reach 4 stars?
Weeks to months, depending on your resource generation and troop power. This is a long-term progression system.

The Armament Star System is the backbone of advanced T11 troop strategy. These star-level bonuses don’t just increase numbers—they unlock passive traits that make your army elite.
