Last War Season 5 High Noon Event Guide
The High Noon event arrives with Season 5, bringing a Wild West–themed challenge mode that runs for roughly forty-eight days. This event is built around ricochet-style shooting puzzles where every stage rewards valuable progression items. This guide breaks down how the mode works, the rules you need to understand, and the rewards you can earn each day.
High Noon introduces a new challenge format where you adjust your firing angle to eliminate enemies across multiple stages. Instead of open battles, this mode plays like a puzzle shooter: bullets bounce off walls, obstacles change your shot path, and you must eliminate all targets before you run out of ammunition.
The event includes:
- A daily Challenge mode
- A Dual mode (unlocking later during the season)
- Ranking rewards for competitive players
- Consistent resource drops you can claim every day
If you want steady speedups, Crystal Gold, and resource chests, this event is worth completing daily.
How the Shooting Challenge Works
Basic Rules
The challenge is simple to learn but grows harder as you progress through the stages. The core rules are:
- Drag to adjust your shooting direction
Your entire strategy revolves around predicting how your bullets will bounce. - Bullets ricochet when they hit obstacles
Walls, crates, and other objects can be used to redirect your shot. - A bullet eliminates an enemy on contact
One clean hit is all that is needed. - You have a limited number of bullets per stage
Early levels offer forgiving layouts, but later stages demand precision. - Clear all enemies to earn stage rewards
You must remove every target before your bullets run out.
The gameplay resembles classic ricochet-style zombie shooters where solving the puzzle is more important than rapid firing.
Daily Stages and Difficulty
You get five stages every day, arranged from easy to hard:
- Stage 1–3: Straightforward angles, slow-moving enemies
- Stage 4: Begins adding tougher patterns
- Stage 5: Contains mechanics such as moving objects, switches, and tighter angles
Example from the run:
- In Stage 5, a switch controls the motion of an obstacle. Shooting the switch freezes the object so that you can line up a finishing shot.
Although the difficulty ramps up, the daily stages remain manageable with a bit of planning.
Rewards You Can Earn
Each cleared stage gives you a variety of useful items for the season. These rewards are a major reason to participate consistently.
Examples include:
- Speedups
- Resource choice chests
- Crystal Gold (essential for Season 5 progression)
- Event-specific tokens such as Cowboy Hats or Brims for exchanges
- Coffee Beans (notably 68k on Stage 5 in the video)
Overall, the event is highly rewarding for minimal effort. Completing all five stages daily adds up significantly over the forty-eight days.
Ranking Rewards
The event includes individual ranking rewards, with placements available up to the top 10,000 players. Rewards scale based on participation and score.
Even if you do not aim for high ranks, you will earn a baseline set of rewards simply for playing.
Dual Mode (Opens Later)
Dual Mode is not available at the event launch. It unlocks around day 15–16 of the season.
While details were not yet active in the preview, expect:
- A competitive version of the same shooting mechanics
- Possibly player-versus-player timed clearing or score comparison
- Separate ranking rewards
Once it opens, players can choose between:
- Solo Challenge mode
- Dual competitive mode
The High Noon event is straightforward, rewarding, and easy to master once you understand how the ricochet mechanics work. It provides consistent resources, Crystal Gold, and seasonal currencies with very little time investment. Even though the gameplay resembles older mobile ricochet shooters, the rewards make it one of the better daily activities in Season 5.
