If you’ve just started the new Disco-Tech room in Terminal Escape Room Season 2 Part 1, don’t be surprised if it feels much tougher than the earlier maps. This room throws almost every type of puzzle at you—logic puzzles, sound recognition, laser reflections, bottle sorting, evidence collection, and even a few randomised mechanics that can’t simply be memorised.
The first time I played it, I honestly thought I’d finish in one run. Instead, I spent way longer than expected on a couple of puzzles (especially the wiring puzzle… you’ll know exactly which one I’m talking about). So, if you just want to clear the room without wasting hours experimenting, this walkthrough takes you through every important step in order.
Terminal Escape Room Season 2 Disco-Tech Walkthrough (Complete Roblox Guide)
Before solving anything, collect the two items near the entrance:
- Fingerprint Kit
- Blank Flash Drive
These are both required later, so don’t leave the starting area without them.
You’ll also notice your first piece of evidence nearby.
Take a photo of it to begin your investigation.
Your objective throughout the room is to photograph 19 pieces of evidence, so always keep an eye out for anything highlighted.
Solve the Letter Placement Puzzle
The first puzzle involves placing different-sized letters into the correct spaces.
There are:
- Small letters
- Medium letters
- One large letter
A simple strategy is to place all the smaller pieces first since they’re easier to fit.
Once every small and medium letter is correctly positioned, place the large letter into the remaining slot.
Completing the puzzle opens the path into the Disco-Tech area.
Before moving on, take a picture of the evidence inside and collect both Glass Mirrors nearby.
You’ll need every mirror later.
Find the Fingerprint Code
Before using the keypad, head back and examine the nearby poster.
It explains how to read the fingerprints.
Now return to the keypad and use the Fingerprint Kit.
The brightest fingerprint indicates the first number.
The correct keypad code is:
3640
Entering the code unlocks the DJ Booth.
Don’t worry about exploring it yet since another puzzle must be completed before you can fully progress.
Photograph Every Evidence You Find
As you explore the disco, continue photographing anything marked as evidence.
The nice thing is that once you have the camera, evidence objects become much easier to notice because they highlight when you’re nearby.
Try building this habit early instead of leaving every photo until the end.
It saves a lot of unnecessary backtracking.
Complete the Random Wire Puzzle
This is probably the most frustrating puzzle in the entire room.
Unlike many Escape Room puzzles, the wire connections are randomised for every player.
That means there’s no universal solution.
Instead, you’ll need to:
- Connect the wires.
- Check how many lights turn on.
- Adjust incorrect wires.
- Repeat until every light is active.
Think of it like Mastermind—each attempt tells you how close you are.
Once every wire is correctly connected, the room’s power comes back online.
This activates both the DJ Booth and the Jukebox.
Solve the DJ Music Puzzle
This puzzle confuses a lot of players because it relies entirely on sound.
The DJ console plays a mix containing four different instrument tracks:
- Drums
- Lead
- Bass
- Claps
Nearby you’ll find several music samples on the jukebox.
Your goal is to compare each instrument in My Mix with the jukebox tracks.
For example:
If the clap pattern perfectly matches track 9, then Claps = 9.
Repeat this process for all four instruments until you’ve identified every number.
Once you’ve worked them all out, the keypad code becomes:
4689
Don’t enter it yet—you’ll first need access to the locked area by disabling the security cameras.
Disable the First Security Cameras
Using the mirrors collected earlier, redirect the UV lasers into the cameras.
Simply:
- Place the mirrors.
- Rotate them until the laser hits the camera.
- Repeat for both cameras.
When both cameras have been disabled, the restricted area unlocks.
Collect the additional evidence photographs while you’re here.
Then enter the previously discovered code:
4689
Inside you’ll receive the Bathroom Key.
Unlock the Bathroom
Use the Bathroom Key to open the men’s washroom.
Inside you’ll find:
- Another evidence photo
- Two additional mirrors
Make sure to collect both mirrors before leaving.
You’ll need four mirrors for the next laser puzzle.
Solve the Second Laser Puzzle
Return to the laser room.
This time you’ll use all four mirrors.
The goal remains the same:
Redirect every laser until both security cameras are disabled.
Once completed, the kitchen becomes accessible.
Take another evidence photo before entering.
Arrange the Kitchen Bottles
The kitchen contains one of the biggest logic puzzles in the room.
First, place the three missing bottles onto the shelves.
Now you’ll have all 18 bottles available.
Nearby recipe posters show which ingredients belong in each drink.
The bottles must be arranged:
- According to their recipe.
- In alphabetical order.
The finished shelf order is:
Top Shelf
- Apple Cider
- Blueberry Soda
- Chocolate Milk
- Lemonade
- Lime Juice
- Super Soda
Middle Shelf
- Black Tea
- Cranberry Juice
- Grape Juice
- Green Tea
- Orange Juice
- Root Beer
Bottom Shelf
- Herbal Tea
- Milk
- Orange Soda
- Pink Lemonade
- Strawberry Soda
After placing every bottle correctly, you’ll receive the Kitchen Key.
Unlock the next room.
Collect More Evidence
Inside the kitchen area you’ll find several additional evidence photographs.
Take pictures of every highlighted object before leaving.
Also collect the extra mirrors found inside.
These are needed for the final laser puzzle.
Complete the Final Laser Puzzle
Return once again to the laser section.
This final version requires redirecting lasers onto every side of the large disco ball.
Unlike the earlier puzzles, several reflections need to chain together before everything activates.
Once every beam reaches its target, the dance floor puzzle becomes available.
Solve the Dance Floor Puzzle
This puzzle begins on the highlighted starting tile.
Your objective is to walk across every tile exactly once while following the numbered route shown on the nearby poster.
The puzzle finishes when you successfully reach tile 13 after covering the entire floor.
If you miss even one tile or step incorrectly, simply restart and try again.
Completing it opens the final evidence room.
Collect All 19 Pieces of Evidence
Inside the newly opened area you’ll find the remaining evidence photographs.
Take pictures until your counter reaches:
19 / 19 Evidence Collected
Once that’s done, insert the Blank Flash Drive into the nearby machine.
Solve the Dial Puzzle
The final machine contains several rotating dials labelled with letters.
Using the nearby clues, arrange them into the following order:

When everything is correctly positioned, the data downloads onto your Flash Drive.

Return to the investigation area.
Print every collected evidence photo.
You’ll now need to separate them into two groups:
- 1980s Evidence
- 2012 Evidence
Connect every photograph to the correct timeline.
The puzzle completes once every image has been linked correctly.
After the investigation board is finished, the Escape button appears.
Press it to successfully clear the Disco-Tech room.

Disco-Tech is easily one of the most puzzle-heavy rooms Terminal Escape Room has released so far. Almost every section asks you to think differently, whether it’s listening to music patterns, reflecting lasers, organising recipes, or piecing together evidence. The only puzzle that genuinely can’t be solved from a guide is the random wire panel since every player’s solution is different, but everything else follows a consistent sequence once you know what to do.
If you’re aiming for a clean run, the biggest time saver is photographing every piece of evidence as soon as you see it instead of leaving them until the end. It makes the final investigation much smoother and lets you focus on escaping rather than hunting for one missing photo.
