Tiles Survive Season I Guide – Turbulent Tides Progression
Season I completely changes how Tiles Survive is played. The world turns into an ocean, cities reset, and a brand-new ship system becomes your main source of power. If you enter this season without understanding what changes, you will fall behind very fast.
This guide explains everything you need to know before you start.
Seasonal Construction Area
A new construction zone opens outside your barricade. This is where your Seasonal Ship is built and upgraded.
At the start of the season, you choose your ship type. This choice defines your playstyle for the entire season.
Seasonal buildings allow you to:
- Increase Corrosion Resistance
- Boost combat stats
- Unlock powerful active combat skills
- Gain access to seasonal resource production
You also receive one free construction slot, which allows you to upgrade both seasonal and normal buildings at the same time.
City Reset & Ocean World
When Season I starts, the world map becomes a giant ocean.
All previously owned cities are reset and become neutral. You must recapture them to regain their power.
Important changes:
- All cities now produce Deepsea Crude every hour
- Monsters are significantly stronger
- Corrosion Resistance becomes mandatory for survival
If your resistance is too low, you will struggle even in normal zones.
State Clash League
This is the main competitive event of the season.
- Runs in two major phases
- Weeks 1–3 and Weeks 5–7 are active league periods
- States earn points through multiple activities
- The higher scoring state invades the enemy Arcadia
- Occupying Arcadia decides the winner
Every member of the winning state receives major rewards.
Hero Promotion System
Season I allows max-star SR heroes to be promoted into SSR heroes.
This gives you access to:
- Higher stats
- New team-building options
- Stronger long-term hero progression
In Season I, Lucky is the first hero that can be promoted.
Oil Clash Event
Starting Week 2, top alliances enter Oil Clash.
- First phase: Top 4 alliances fight
- Later phase: Expands to 8 alliances
Each player receives:
- 15 anchors (action points)
- 8 anchors daily
- Max cap of 15 at any time
You must use anchors carefully and coordinate with your alliance.
Rewards go to the alliance with the strongest strategy and coordination.
Weekly Pass & Season Pass
These passes provide massive advantages:
- Fuel and Freshwater for upgrading seasonal buildings
- Extra Oil Refinery and Water Purifier
- Faster seasonal resource production
- Extra anchors
- Corrosion Resistance bonuses
They dramatically speed up your seasonal progression.
Fishing Tournament
A lighter side activity of the season.
You can compete with other players, earn bonus rewards, and relax between major battles. Rewards and schedules change, so always check in-game announcements.
Once you understand this system, Turbulent Tides becomes one of the most rewarding seasons Tiles Survive has introduced.
