So, Spectre Divide has been out for a bit now, and if you’re like me, you’ve probably been itching to figure out which weapons dominate in this tactical shooter. With the unique mechanic of controlling two players at once, weapon choice can make or break your game.
So, I’ve put together a tier list to help you figure out which guns are worth your time and which ones you might want to avoid.
S Tier
- The Reaver – This bad boy is basically the king of the meta right now. Its spray pattern is super predictable, making headshots a breeze. Even if you mess up, it’s easy to recover and still dominate.
- The Crusader – A true jack-of-all-trades. It’s got the stopping power up close and a high fire rate for those burst fire moments. Definitely a top-tier rifle.
- The Blackout – No tracers? Yes, please! This gun’s perfect for spamming through smokes and can be used effectively in hip fire and running gun scenarios.
- The Trident – A three-round burst that’s basically a laser beam. Double zoom is a nice touch for those precise headshots. It’s got great damage and fire rate, making it a must-have.
- The Whisper – If you love spraying and praying, this is your go-to. Versatile enough for all ranges and great for farming up cash for the OP in later rounds.
- The Prototype-OP – For all you snipers out there, this is your AWP equivalent. It’s easier to use and will make you a nightmare for enemies from long distances.
- The Tempest – Ideal for tap-shooting enthusiasts. Easy hip fire control and effective headshot potential, though it struggles a bit with body damage.
A Tier
- The Cyclone – A tier 3 rifle with a bit of a weird spray pattern, but once you master it, it’s a beast.
- The Buzzsaw – This SMG has 40 rounds in its mag, allowing for prolonged spray sessions. It’s good for running and gunning, though controlling recoil can be tricky.
- The Bouncer – Perfect for choke points and eco rounds. This shotgun is almost guaranteed to get you a kill in close quarters.
- The Shiv – A solid pistol with 100 damage headshots. The body-head two-shot combo is effective, and it’s a reliable pick for eco rounds.
- The Harpe – It’s got a double zoom and is pretty strong for its price. A solid choice, especially when on a budget.
B Tier
- The Berserker – It has 100 rounds in the drum, but the damage output is lacking. Still, it’s decent for spamming.
- The Carbon – A basic pistol with some vertical recoil issues. It’s not the best, but it gets the job done in early rounds.
- The Drummer – This auto shotgun is balanced but has an overheat mechanic that can be a bit weird to manage.
C Tier
- The Knife – It’s a one-shot close-up weapon but lacks range. Cool animation, though!
- The Scorpion – As a tier one SMG, it’s pretty underwhelming. It does what you expect but not much more.
D Tier
- The Duster – Clunky and not very effective at range. The ADS dot disappearing makes it frustrating to use.
- The Brat – Bad recoil and low damage make this one a real dud. Ammo runs out fast, and it’s generally not worth it.
- The Fury – Slow and clunky, and even with high penetration, it’s tough to use effectively.
That’s the lowdown on the weapons in Spectre Divide. Hopefully, this tier list helps you get a better grip on what to use and what to avoid.
