Tiles Survive Turbo Turtle Event Beginner Guide

If you’ve just jumped into the Turbo Turtle event in Tiles Survive and feel a bit lost staring at all the tabs, don’t worry — this is one of those events that looks confusing at first but becomes very predictable once you understand how each day works.

Day 1 is actually simple… but also where most players mess up their entire week without realizing it.

Let’s break it down properly so you don’t waste resources.

Tiles Survive Turbo Turtle Event Beginner Guide

The event runs across 7 stages (7 days), and each day focuses on specific actions that give you points.

When you open the event, you’ll see:

  • Ranking
  • Score / Store
  • Stage (Day progress)

Each day has different scoring methods, and if you use the wrong resources on the wrong day, you lose a lot of value.

That’s why planning from Day 1 matters.

Day 1 Focus: Gear Upgrading Only

Day 1 is all about:

  • Upgrading gear
  • Enhancing gear
  • Reforging gear

That’s it.

If you stick to this, you’ll gain points efficiently without hurting your progress for later days.

What You Should Do

Go straight to your Hero → Gear section and:

  • Upgrade gear using materials (scraps, screws, etc.)
  • Enhance gear levels
  • Reforge if possible

These actions give direct points for Day 1 and also help your overall power.

The Biggest Mistake: Using Research Speed-Ups

This is where most beginners go wrong.

It might look like using research speed-ups gives points (and it does)… but:

Do NOT use research speed-ups on Day 1.

Here’s why:

  • Day 3 is the Research Day
  • Using speed-ups on Day 3 gives much higher value
  • It also contributes better toward ranking and vs events

If you burn them early, you’ll struggle later.

Think of it like saving your strongest move for the right moment.

Troop Training — Optional but Powerful

If you’re trying to:

  • Push rankings
  • Compete with other states
  • Aim for top rewards

Then troop training becomes important.

When to Train Troops

  • Use training if you want extra points beyond gear upgrades
  • Higher tier troops = more points

But if you’re a beginner or low on resources, don’t overdo it. Focus on hitting the minimum target first.

Minimum Target: Aim for 5 Million Points

You should aim to reach at least:
5 million points on Day 1

Why this matters:

  • Unlocks milestone rewards
  • Keeps you competitive in rankings
  • Ensures steady progress through the event

If you fall below this, you’re basically leaving rewards on the table.

Understanding the Rankings (Important)

There are three types of rankings:

1. Group Ranking

  • Based on your activity within a group
  • More points = better rewards

2. Stage Ranking (Daily)

  • Your performance for that specific day
  • Resets each day

3. Event Ranking (Most Important)

  • Total performance across all 7 days
  • Best rewards come from here

Also, you’re competing against other states, not just your own — so efficiency matters more than raw spending.

Event Store: Don’t Waste Your Medals

You’ll earn event currency (medals) as you progress.

Here’s the rule:

Do NOT spend anything until you reach 20 medals.

Why?

  • At 20, you can buy Golden Gear
  • Everything else in the shop is low value

Spending early = regret later.

What If You Have Limited Resources?

Let’s be real — not everyone has:

  • Tons of speed-ups
  • High-tier gear
  • Plenty of materials

If that’s you:

  • Focus only on gear upgrades
  • Collect milestone rewards
  • Don’t force troop training
  • Save everything for later days

Even a low-resource account can perform well with smart planning.

Smart Day 1 Checklist

Before you log off, make sure you:

  • Upgraded all available gear
  • Used enhancement/reforge where possible
  • Avoided research speed-ups
  • Reached as close to 5M points as possible
  • Saved medals for Golden Gear

If you’ve done all this, your Day 1 is solid.

Day 1 feels basic — and honestly, it is.

But it sets the tone for the entire event.

Players who:

  • Waste speed-ups early
  • Spend medals randomly
  • Ignore gear upgrades

…end up struggling hard by Day 3 and beyond.

Play it smart now, and the rest of the week becomes much easier.
