How to Get All Translator Parts in Fisch – All Part Location

The Translator is required to begin the Glorp Alien Questline in Fisch. You cannot speak with the alien at Roslit Bay until you craft the Translator device, and crafting it requires collecting three separate parts scattered across different islands. Each part is obtained through fishing, and all three follow the same general pattern: fish in the correct location, use the right bait, and keep going until the part drops.

This How to Get All Translator Parts in Fisch guide covers each location step-by-step, the best method for collecting the parts quickly, and what to do after crafting the Translator.

How to Get All Translator Parts in Fisch

How the Translator Works

The Translator is crafted using three unique components:

• Translator Part 1
• Translator Part 2
• Translator Part 3

Each of these drops from a specific fishing zone. Once you gather all three, you can craft the Translator at the crafting menu and return to the alien NPC to officially begin the storyline.

All three parts behave like common loot items, meaning they do not require rare bait or special stats. Consistent fishing is all that matters.

Translator Part 1 – Roslit Island

The first part comes from Roslit Island, the starting zone for the alien content. Simply cast anywhere around the island and fish until you hook the Translator Part.

Players generally recommend using Garbage Bait, because its loot table increases the chance of pulling debris-type items, and Translator Parts appear to be categorized alongside these miscellaneous drops. Even though the drop rate is not extremely rare, Garbage Bait helps speed up the process considerably.

Stay in the area and keep fishing until the item appears in your inventory. Once you have it, you can move on.

Translator Part 2 – Sunstone Island

The second part is found at Sunstone Island. This area sits further away from Roslit Island, but the process remains identical. Find any fishing spot on the island and begin reeling until the Translator Part drops.

Again, Garbage Bait is recommended, as players consistently report faster drop rates when using it for all three components. The part is a common-quality drop, so you do not need any special gear, rods, or luck-related stats.

As soon as the item appears, you’re free to travel to the final location.

Translator Part 3 – Open Ocean

The third and final Translator Part is found in the ocean between the islands. You must fish specifically in the deep-water zone, meaning the area where you leave the coasts behind and cast into the open sea.

This last part behaves exactly like the first two:

• Use Garbage Bait
• Fish until the drop appears
• Expect it to behave like a common rarity item

Once collected, you now have all three required components.

Crafting the Translator

With all three parts in your inventory, open your crafting menu and locate the Translator recipe. Crafting the item completes the preparation step for the Glorp Alien Questline.

If you previously accepted the quest to build the Translator, you may need to reclaim the quest or speak to the NPC again so the game recognizes your progress. After the Translator is crafted and the quest is updated, you are ready to meet the alien.

Delivering the Translator to the Alien

Return to Roslit Bay and head toward the lighthouse area. The alien NPC stands near the structure, waiting for the device. Interact with him and hand over the Translator. Once he has it, you unlock full dialogue and can progress into the Glorp questline and its associated rewards.
