Hunter x Hunter Nen x Survivor Tier List (Global Launch)

This tier list for Hunter x Hunter Nen x Survivor focuses on the most usable characters in the current global version. Since the game heavily relies on rarity and ultimate abilities, only S-rank heroes and a few top A-rank units are truly worth investing in.

Lower rarity versions are mostly duplicates with weaker stats, so they are not considered part of the competitive tier rankings.

Hunter x Hunter Nen x Survivor Tier List (Global Launch)

Before looking at rankings, it’s important to understand what determines a strong character in Nen x Survivor.

Ultimate Abilities Matter the Most

The biggest difference between S-rank and A-rank heroes is that S-rank characters have ultimate skills, while most A-rank units do not. This alone makes a massive impact on survivability, crowd control, and damage output during late-game runs.

Because of this, A-rank heroes are usually only temporary replacements until you obtain stronger S-rank units.

Skill Type and Consistency

Characters with predictable area attacks, healing, or movement boosts tend to rank higher because they provide consistent value. Randomized skills often rank lower since they are unreliable when facing large enemy waves.

S Tier Characters (Top Meta Picks)

These characters are considered the strongest overall due to their high damage output, strong survivability tools, or exceptional utility.

Scarlet Eyes Avenger

This free S-rank character is one of the best early and mid-game picks. They can block ranged attacks with chain abilities while dealing strong damage, making them extremely reliable in crowded battles.

Because of their defensive utility and offensive power, they remain useful even into later stages.

Hidden Strength Healer

This is currently considered the best support character in the game. Their ultimate ability provides continuous healing, increases movement speed, and boosts survivability during intense enemy waves.

Movement speed is especially valuable in large maps where dodging and repositioning are critical for survival.

Purple Flash Damage Dealer

This character is widely regarded as one of the strongest DPS units. Their lightning-based abilities deal chain damage across multiple enemies, making them extremely effective against large enemy groups.

Their ability to clear swarms quickly makes them one of the best leaders in the game.

A Tier Characters (Strong but Situational)

These heroes are still powerful but have limitations that prevent them from reaching top-tier status.

Hunters Association Chairman

This is a free S-rank character given at launch. While useful early on, their abilities lack the scaling and crowd control needed for later stages, making them more of a temporary carry.

They remain decent in certain game modes but are eventually replaced by stronger S-tier units.

Spiders Stitcher Support

This character deals damage with threads while providing healing effects. However, their support capabilities are weaker compared to the top healer, making them a secondary option.

They are best used only if better support units are unavailable.

Furious Blow Fighter

Although this character deals respectable damage, their abilities target random enemies. This randomness reduces their effectiveness because survivor-style gameplay requires focused attacks to clear safe paths through enemy waves.

As a result, they rank slightly below more consistent damage dealers.

B Tier Characters (Temporary Options)

These characters are generally A-rank heroes without ultimate abilities.

They can be useful early in the game but quickly fall off once players obtain S-rank heroes. Their main drawback is the lack of powerful skills needed to handle late-game enemy swarms.

Why Random Skills Are Weak

One key reason some characters rank lower is due to randomness in their abilities.

Lack of Control

Random attacks may hit scattered enemies instead of focusing on the most dangerous threats. This makes it harder to create safe movement paths during survival runs.

Inefficient Crowd Management

Predictable area attacks allow players to control enemy positioning, while random abilities often fail to reduce pressure effectively.

For beginners, ranged S-rank damage dealers are the best leader choices. They allow safer positioning, consistent damage output, and easier enemy management compared to melee characters.

Support characters should generally not be chosen as leaders since their strength lies in assisting the main damage dealer.

The current meta strongly favors S-rank characters with strong ultimate abilities, reliable damage patterns, and survivability tools. Characters with healing, speed boosts, or wide-area attacks consistently perform the best.

As the game receives updates and new heroes are introduced, rankings may change, but the importance of ultimate abilities and reliable skill patterns will likely remain central to the meta.
