Last Asylum Plague Ravens & Epigraph System Guide

This Last Asylum Plague Ravens & Epigraph System looks confusing at first, but once you understand how everything connects, it becomes one of the biggest power boosts in the game. Think of Ravens as an extra “hidden hero” for your squad. If you build it correctly, your damage jumps hard. If you mess it up, you just waste resources.

Let’s break it down properly.

Last Asylum Plague Ravens & Epigraph System

Raven is basically an extra stat system tied to your squad, not a separate unit you control.

It works through three main parts:

  • Raven Nest
  • Raven Gear
  • Abyssal (Epigraph system)

The Workshop just gives materials over time, nothing you need to stress about.

Raven Level & Evolution

This is your base power.

You upgrade Raven using:

  • Raven Fruit (EXP)
  • Raven Essence (for evolution)

How it works:

  • Every 10 levels → you evolve
  • Evolution unlocks more power and systems

This part is mandatory. If your Raven isn’t evolving, everything else is locked behind it.

Raven Gear

This is where things get a bit tricky.

  • You get gear from Raven Boxes
  • Gear can be fused into higher levels
  • You need multiple copies to upgrade

Important detail:

To upgrade central gear pieces, you must:

  • Upgrade surrounding pieces first
  • Usually to level 7

So progression is not linear, you need to build everything evenly.

Where to get gear:

  • Alliance Shop
  • VIP Store
  • Expedition Shop
  • Honor Shop
  • Sanctuary

Always grab Raven-related items whenever possible. This system snowballs over time.

Abyssal System

This is the real endgame power.

Abyssal = special gear sets that boost specific squad types

You unlock this through:

  • Raven evolution
  • Abyssal Workshop

Important Rule

Each Abyssal ONLY works for a specific squad type:

  • Warrior
  • Ranger
  • Warlord

If you put the wrong Abyssal on the wrong squad → you get nothing

So:

  • Pick your main squad FIRST
  • Build Abyssal around that

Abyssal Quality & Crafting

There are two main tiers:

  • Purple
  • Orange (UR)

Crafting requires:

  • Materials (Abyssal shards)
  • Workshop level (Lv.15 unlock for crafting)

Higher quality = much better stats.

Abyssal Layout

Each Abyssal piece focuses on something:

  • Top → Attack
  • Left → Defense
  • Right → Support
  • Center → Overall boost

Lower rarity (blue/green) = mostly used as upgrade material later.

Star Upgrading Abyssal

This is VERY important.

To upgrade Abyssal stars:

  • You need the exact same piece again

Yes, even for orange.

That’s why:

  • You need duplicates
  • Random chests are important

This is where long-term grind comes in.

Squad Unlock System

You don’t get all squads immediately.

  • 1st squad → default
  • 2nd squad → Raven evolve 2 (Lv150)
  • 3rd squad → Raven evolve 3 (Lv300)
  • 4th squad → requires more progression

This is why evolving Raven is critical.

Best Strategy

1. Focus One Squad First

  • Pick your strongest squad
  • Build Abyssal ONLY for that

Do not spread early.

2. Match Abyssal Correctly

  • Warrior → Warrior Abyssal
  • Ranger → Ranger Abyssal
  • Warlord → Warlord Abyssal

Wrong match = wasted stats.

3. Prioritize Evolution

  • Unlock more squads
  • Increase total stats

This is your biggest progression gate.

4. Use Reset Feature Smartly

If you upgrade wrong:

  • You can reset
  • Get materials back

So don’t panic if you made mistakes early.

5. Always Buy Raven Items

From:

  • Alliance Shop
  • VIP Shop
  • Expedition
  • Honor

These are your main consistent sources.
