Dark War Survival Lucky Cat Event Guide & Treasure Site
The Lucky Cat and Treasure Site system is a new cooperative exploration feature added during Season 5’s Blood Moon Phase events in Dark War Survival. Players can uncover hidden lanterns, reveal treasure sites, and earn valuable rewards by working together with survivors from the same state.
Below are the complete simplified rules and mechanics for the event.
Dark War Survival – Lucky Cat & Treasure Site Guide (Season 5)
1. Small Lucky Cat Discovery
During the season, dispatch light-bearing troops to defeat Rotting Oni and Booze Brutes on the world map.
Only the initiator (the player who starts the attack) has a chance to discover a Small Lucky Cat after victory.
Each player can discover one Small Lucky Cat per day.
2. Lantern Appearance
When the Blood Moon begins, Lanterns will appear randomly across the world map.
These Lanterns are temporary and mark the locations where Treasure Sites can later be revealed.
3. Lantern Illumination
When your light-bearing troops approach a Lantern, it will light up and reveal nearby Treasure Sites.
This action benefits all survivors in the same state, allowing everyone to participate in exploration.
4. Treasure Site Exploration
Treasure Sites can be explored by scout troops.
Once the exploration progress of a Treasure Site reaches 100%, all participating survivors will receive shared rewards.
Rewards are distributed based on participation, and each site has a limited reward pool that depletes as players claim it.
5. State-Wide Interaction Rules
All Treasure Sites can be interacted with by survivors from the same state, meaning cooperation is encouraged.
However, Small Lucky Cats discovered from Oni or Brutes are exclusive to the discoverer and cannot be shared.
6. Large Lucky Cat Rewards
Each survivor may claim Large Lucky Cat rewards up to three times per day.
These rewards are separate from the Small Lucky Cat discoveries and Treasure Site exploration rewards.
