Evony Daedalus Labyrinth Event Guide – Complete Breakdown

If you’ve ever opened the Event Center and noticed the Daedalus Labyrinth sitting quietly in the background, you’re not alone. It looks mysterious, flashy, and oddly tempting. The name alone makes it sound like some legendary treasure hunt that could finally change your account forever.

So I decided to go deep into it, study every reward, every mechanic, and every hidden trap. And I’ll be completely honest with you — this is one of those events that looks exciting on the surface but becomes very questionable the moment you understand how it truly works.

Let me walk you through it exactly how I experienced it.

Evony Daedalus Labyrinth Event

Daedalus Labyrinth is a limited event that usually appears during “quiet” periods in Evony, when there are no big triple coupon events running. It is designed as a puzzle-style treasure hunt where you uncover hidden vaults using special items called Trailblazing Orbs.

You are told that Daedalus, the mythical craftsman, has hidden powerful treasures inside a labyrinth. Your job is to use orbs, open vaults, and hope that luck smiles on you.

On paper, it sounds like a fun strategic mini-event. In reality, it is a heavily monetized luck-based system.

How the System Actually Works

Every time you use a Trailblazing Orb, you open a treasure vault. Most of the time, you get basic filler rewards like refining stones, resource chests, and minor materials.

However, the entire event revolves around one extremely rare item called the Daedalus Stone.

This stone is what allows you to unlock the “Hidden Treasure Layer,” which is the only place where the truly valuable rewards exist — mainly Officer General Scrolls, which are some of the most powerful items in the game.

Here is the painful part:

• The Daedalus Stone has only a 0.5% drop rate
• That means on average, you will almost never see it naturally
• Evony added a pity system — if you fail 49 times in a row, you are guaranteed to get one on your 50th attempt

So yes, you are guaranteed one… but only after spending enough to reach 50 attempts.

How Much It Actually Costs

Trailblazing Orbs are not farmable. They are purchased through packs.

The main packs look like this:

• Small pack gives 2 orbs
• Large pack gives 10 orbs (and can be doubled with coupons)

Even if you perfectly use double coupons, you still only get 20 orbs per large purchase.

To reach the guaranteed 50-orb pity system, you will realistically need three large purchases, which pushes the total spending into the very high pay-to-win territory.

And that only guarantees you the Daedalus Stone — not the real rewards yet.

The Second Layer of RNG (Where It Gets Worse)

Once you finally get your Daedalus Stone and unlock the hidden treasure layer, you are met with another loot pool.

This pool contains items like:

• Blood of Ares
• Covenant Stones
• Various filler materials
• And the real prizes — Officer General Scrolls

But here’s the second punch to the gut:

The scrolls only have a 10% chance to drop.

Which means you could:

• Spend huge money
• Hit the pity system
• Unlock the hidden layer
• And still walk away with nothing useful

You could end up with Blood of Ares or Covenant Stones — items that do not come anywhere close to justifying the cost.

This is the moment where the event truly reveals its nature. It does not reward effort. It does not reward planning. It purely rewards spending and gambling.

What Free-to-Play Players Get

Almost nothing.

There is a tiny free chest available that gives a basic resource pack. No free spins. No daily orb fragments. No way to meaningfully participate.

So if you are free-to-play or low spender, this event is basically just a decorative menu you can look at and close.

From real experience and full analysis — no, it is not worth it for the majority of players.

You are paying for:

• Extremely low drop chances
• A double layer of RNG
• No meaningful guarantees
• And filler rewards that do not match the cost

Unless you are an ultra-spender who does not mind risking large amounts for a small chance at a scroll, this event is one of the worst value-for-money systems currently in Evony.

It is flashy, cleverly designed, and psychologically tempting — but mathematically and practically, it is one of the least player-friendly events in the game.

This event could have been amazing. A free daily spin, orb fragments from monsters, or milestone rewards would have completely changed how players felt about it. Instead, it ended up becoming one of the most pay-locked and luck-punishing events in Evony.

If you are building your account smartly, your money and time are much better spent on events that provide direct, guaranteed value.

Daedalus Labyrinth is not a treasure hunt. It is a slot machine wearing ancient armor.
