Last War Plunder Guide – Resource Ratios, Setup
In Last War, plundering is one of the most efficient ways to accumulate resources beyond passive production. When you attack another player’s base and successfully breach their defenses, you can steal a portion of their available resources — but the system is deeper than it looks.
This guide covers how plunder mechanics work, how to increase your plunder capacity (“Charge”), how to plan efficient raids, and how to build a personal “fridge” system for resource farming — all while respecting your server’s NAP (Non-Attack Pact) rules.
Last War Plunder Guide (Resource Raiding, Charge Optimization)
Plundering Basics
When you attack another player and win, you plunder part of their stored resources — Gold, Iron, and Food.
However, the amount you get is limited by your Charge, which acts as the maximum carrying capacity of your troops during a plunder.
Key Points
- The maximum lootable amount = your total Charge.
- You only get a ratio of available resources based on what’s inside the enemy’s HQ.
- Always scout before attacking — the resource distribution of your target determines what you’ll actually receive.
2. How Resource Ratios Work
Let’s break down how the system calculates your plunder.
Example 1: Balanced Resources
If your maximum plunder (Charge) = 3M, and the target has:
- 2M Gold
- 2M Food
- 2M Iron
Then you’ll loot 1M of each resource, since your Charge (3M total) is evenly distributed among the three types.
Example 2: Uneven Resources
If your Charge = 3M, and the target has:
- 4M Food
- 1M Gold
- 1M Iron
You’ll get roughly:
- 2M Food
- 0.5M Gold
- 0.5M Iron
This means the resource ratio matters. If you’re targeting a specific resource, choose your targets accordingly — always scout first to see what’s worth the attack.
3. Daily Plunder Limits
You can only plunder effectively a limited number of times per day. After several successful raids, your loot efficiency drops progressively:
- After X plunders, you’ll get –X% loot efficiency
- After Y plunders, you’ll get –Y% loot efficiency
These reductions reset daily, so plan your attacks strategically. Avoid wasting early plunders on empty or low-yield bases, as they’ll reduce your efficiency before you find high-value targets (“fridges”).
4. Increasing Your Charge (Max Loot Capacity)
Your total plunderable resource capacity (Charge) depends on how much your soldiers can carry. This can be increased through Tech, Alliance Upgrades, and Squad Power Boosts.
A. Alliance Tech
Upgrade | Effect |
---|---|
War → Unit Load Capacity | +10% Charge |
B. Personal Tech (Load Training)
Tech Name | Bonus |
---|---|
Units / Load Training I | +5% |
Units / Load Training II | +5% |
Units / Load Training III | +5% |
Units / Load Training IV | +5% |
Units / Load Training V | +5% |
C. Squad Power Boosts
Tech Name | Effect |
---|---|
Squad X / Power Boost X (for each Squad 1–4) | Up to +15% |
Siege to Seize / Power Boost I | +10% |
D. More Soldiers = More Carry Capacity
Increasing March Size directly increases total Charge, since Charge is per soldier.
Method | Bonus |
---|---|
Tank / Missile / Aircraft Mastery – March Size I | +10 |
Tank / Missile / Aircraft Mastery – March Size II | +10 |
Paid Survivor: Shirley (HQ VIP) | +10 |
God of Judgment Decoration (Season Store) | +10 |
Military Building Center (Tank/Missile/Aircraft)** | +Y soldiers |
Check It Yourself:
- Go to Barracks → Squad Info → Squad Load Capacity
- Higher-level troops = higher Load Capacity per soldier
5. Optimal Plundering Setup
Always attack with your Main Squad, fully upgraded with the highest-tier soldiers available.
Why Full Main Squad?
- Tech Synergy: Main Squad benefits from your highest Squad Tech levels.
- Power Boosts: Your Power Boost I is likely maxed for Main Squad.
- Consistency: Mixed tiers (e.g., T8 + T9) reduce your overall load efficiency.
- Fewer Troops = Less Loot: Always fill your squad before launching an attack.
Tip: Even radar missions (PvE attack tasks) count as plunders. Use your main squad to maximize resources gained from these too.
6. Naming Strategy (The “Fridge System”)
Efficient plundering is about organization. Smart players build a naming system to track resource-rich bases (called “Fridges”) they can farm later.
Step 1 – Identify Targets
Scout players to find high-resource bases, then rename them according to what they store most.
Example | Meaning |
---|---|
Fridge GIF | Balanced Gold, Iron, Food |
Fridge GIf | Lower Food, higher Gold & Iron |
Fridge Gi | High Gold & Iron only |
mFridge Gi | Mini fridge – fewer resources (~20 hits max) |
MFridge Gi | Mega fridge – huge stockpile (1G+ Gold) |
Empty Check 2H | Almost empty, 2 hits max |
Step 2 – Mark with Categories
Use Markers or Favorites (Magnifying Glass) to tag these players under:
- Friends / Enemies / Special
- Assign same rename pattern to locate them easily later.
Step 3 – Keep Track of Empty Bases
Rename empty or raided bases with extra characters (e.g., “Empty Check”) so you don’t waste scouts or attacks on them again.
7. Free Teleport Strategy
When Free Teleports are available (typically during active season or grouping teleport events):
- Move temporarily to a nearby server or another location.
- Scout intensively within that 5–10 minute window (teleport cooldown).
- Focus on second-circle bases (second row/column areas often have plunderable HQs).
- Record coordinates by renaming or bookmarking them.
- Return to your hive once scouted.
Do this regularly, and you’ll have a server-wide fridge map ready for every plundering session.
8. Advanced Plunder Tips
- Scout before every plunder. Never waste efficiency on an empty HQ.
- Time your plunders: Early in the day = fewer competitors.
- Coordinate with allies: Avoid raiding alliance members or NAP-protected bases.
- Target post-event inactivity: Players who went inactive after war events often stockpile large resources.
- Use troop presets: Have a preset just for full-load plundering with your best squad.
9. NAP Rules Reminder
Always follow your server’s Non-Aggression Pact (NAP) policies.
Violating NAPs can lead to:
- Bans from major alliances
- Forced hive relocation
- Retaliation attacks
Before attacking, confirm whether the target belongs to an ally or protected group.
Mastering plundering in Last War isn’t just about brute force — it’s about planning, preparation, and efficiency.
From increasing your squad’s carrying capacity to building your own network of “fridges,” this system ensures a steady resource flow even outside major wars.
