FISCH Treasure Island Update Guide – New Codes, Rods, NPC

How to Unlock Treasure Island

To access Treasure Island, head to the Isles of New Beginnings in the Second Sea. There, talk to a mysterious Crazy Man NPC, who mentions a “Great Whale” that only appears when least expected.

Trigger the Whale Event: The whale only appears after a tornado spawns in Second Sea. Once a tornado shows up:

You have 5 minutes to reach the Isles of New Beginnings.

A massive whale will spawn and take you to Treasure Island in about 8 minutes.

Tip: Tornadoes are rare, but they’ve now been replaced by rain, making it easier to trigger the whale event.

Once you’re on Treasure Island, here’s what you’ll find:

The Treasure Appraiser

  • Found at the highest point of the island.

You can appraise special fish here, like the Wave Piercer, for 30,000 coins.

Completing the appraisal triggers a mini-game that enhances your fish with new names and stats (e.g., “Lobster Big Wave Piercer”).

New Bestiary on Treasure Island

There’s a whole new Treasure Island Bestiary, including an exotic Gold Fin Octopus and cool-looking but realistic fish like:

Gemstone Whale Shark

Various new bait preferences (some require specific bait, others are flexible)

You can preview bait types for each fish by checking the Bestiary menu.

Two New Fishing Rods

1. Treasure Rod

Obtained by completing the Crazy Man’s quest after visiting Treasure Island.

Stats:

  • 70% Lure Speed
  • 130% Luck
  • 0.12 Control
  • 5% Resilience
  • Infinite max KG
  • 8% chance to trigger a “coinfall” effect where every fish caught gets the Gemstone Mutation (6x multiplier)

While not the strongest, the rod’s mutation effect is a fun twist for collectors.

2. Merchant Rod

Bought from the Whale Merchant (inside the whale, only available when he’s awake).

Stats:

  • 75% Lure Speed
  • 60% Luck
  • 0.05 Control
  • 18% Resilience
  • Infinite max KG
  • 7% chance to create a whirlpool that generates random bait

This rod looks like a Megalodon tooth and has a unique design, though the passive is less useful since bait is easy to farm.

Whale Interior Bestiary

While riding the whale, you can fish inside it! The Whale Interior Bestiary includes:

  • Mythical: Giant Mooray
  • Legendary: Bearded Toadfish
  • Both require Whale Bait
  • Other fish have no specific bait preference

Great spot to casually fish while waiting for the ride to end.

New Boats and Shop Items

Whale Ski (Bundle Boat)

Stats:

  • 245 Speed
  • 80 Spearing
  • 0.9 Acceleration

Tiny two-seater, incredibly fast

Sold as part of a bundle with 30 golden tentacles (Robux bait)

The bundle is considered pay-to-win by many players due to Robux-only bait.

Puffernaut (Second Boat)

Remains unchanged from previous updates.
